“I cannot say enough about Dr. Bernie and Adorable Pets. We had a dog that was suffering on a Friday and we made the heart wrenching decision to let him cross the rainbow bridge. Our vet (not Dr. Bernie) had been involved in all his care and had seen Henry that morning telling us he was at the end. Maybe for reasonable reasons they wouldn't sneak us in at the end of the day. Dr. Bernie and Adorable Pets, however, made room for us at the end of their day to ease Henry's way. They were so kind and caring - and this was the first time they met us! It was incredible. They even sent us a personalized condolence card. Our vet hasn't even followed up with us since our devastating final appointment. You can be sure we will be going to Dr Bernie when we welcome a new pup into our lives. I can't say thank you enough.”
“Clinton Veterinary Hospital is absolutely the best Veterinary Care. I am beyond grateful for all they did for my beautiful Baby (that was my Chihuahua’s name)from the moment she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure to the end of her life 2.5 years later. “My Salem kitty was my heart. Things went wrong very fast and out of the blue. Having to take him anywhere to let him go seemed impossible. Dr. Chris and her staff were incredible. They saw my broken heart and treated my Salem and I with such tenderness and kindness. Salem mattered to them, too. I had Salem cremated and had a pawprint put in clay. Bonnie did Salem's print and did such a beautiful and lovely job. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for treating Salem with such a gentle hand and heart from the beginning to the very end when I came back to get his ashes. It all means more to this broken heart than you could ever know.”

“Recently, I visited the Animal Hospital of Old Saybrook with my fourteen year old cat for the first time. We were immediately greeted by a friendly young woman to review paperwork, then show us to our room. She was so kind. Our entire visit was thoroughly knowledgeable, and caring. Dr. Shrack conveyed a kind expertise for my cat’s medical issues, and I felt quite confident in the care he would be receiving. Seeing Fluffy relaxed and calm throughout the visit, helped me feel calm during his visit, as well! Thanks so much.”
“We love the warmth and compassion of this small Clinic. Our cat Pepper is very skiddish and had a kidney infection. The Vet came to our house and was able to catch her and bring her back to the Clinic to perform the necessary surgery. We are so grateful for the care they provided to our lovely cat.”

“Great staff! Attentive, friendly, accomodsting, always remember who I am & more. This is a modern veterinary practice with a small town feeling. They know & greet my dog &/or cats as well as me with smiles/concern appropriate to the situation and make me feel they are happy to see us even if things aren't great. Every time I'm there, I see all the pet patients (and their humans) treated like this. They are knowledgeable abouut the veterinary field. They listen carefully and are often able to guide me . I like that the "front office staff" aren't only receptionists, but knowledgeable about the veterinary field and know what questions to ask to make sure the appropriate time is scheduled & thst the doctor has the best information possible before seeing us. They are great at easing fears, boosting spirits, consoling patient & owner and more.I'm always impressed that when the doctors or technicians walk into the exam room, they give me a quick hello, then immediately focus on whomever I'm bringing in that day. They take the time necessary to be sure they have a good amount of time for observation & hands on time as well as listening carefully to my concerns and the information I give them is respected. The facility is always neat & clean and privacy is respected. I have used Salem Valley Veterinary since they opened, and despite the expected staff changes over time (20 or so years worth) the quality of services is still excellent. I highly recommend them and hope that you will take the time to develop a solid relationship with the staff as it only helps us both to give our precious companions the best life we can.”
