“Staff was very nice and accommodating. Food was delicious. Plenty of spaces for quiet moments. Was there for a retreat and enjoyed my stay. Would recommend for a retreat or for a quiet relaxing getaway.”

115 Main St, Ivoryton“I had a short stay, just for a night. Bed was big and comfy, theres a back area if you need to step out, that was nice. Soap and Towels were provided and there's a coffee machine, a Mini fridge was also provided. This was actually my first stay in an Inn ever, I settled in for the night nicely. There's a cool mill across the street, I like mills and if you like New England mill towns that's a plus. Pizza place around the corner so it's in a good place, I recommend if you need a room for the night. ☘”

1750 Boston Post Rd, Old Saybrook“For a 2* hotel, this is pretty nice. Great location, off of Rt 1. Convenient to restaurants, shops and beach.
Staff were confused about reservation & did not apologize when they discovered they had made a mistake.
+ rooms are a good sized
+ 32" older tv with lots of channels
+ comfy bed
+ microwave and fridge in room
+ nice grounds with a pond
+very clean
+ nice patio deck outside
- no coffee maker in room
- poor towel quality
- very poor quality soap, no other products ( no shampoo, conditioner)
- breakfast..only waffles, coffee and orange and apple juice
- no pool. Its covered up. Was looking forward to using it. Staff should have mentioned.
- poor communication by staff
Otherwise above average for a 2* hotel”
“Arrived at 3:30am. Our host, Vijay was incredibly hospitable even helped clear the snow off our car in the morning! Such a wonderful host. Thanks for having us!!!Walkability: Great location!”
“This is a wonderful place to stay and the dining room is a beatiful room. Service people may have been overworked the night we went but every order along the way including drinks took a long time to get when seemingly not that much was going on. The filet Mignon, most expensive item on the menu, came out a little cold and the sauce was slighlty burnt. We would have sent it back but were waiting about an hour for it. The caesar salad was more like a regular salad without the characteristics of a traditional caesar salad. The prices seemed a little high ($12 for a creme Brullee in a very tiny ramakin about the size of a butter ramakin). We have eaten here before a while back and it was great. I am chalking up this experience to a bad night. The breakfast was great however and it is a great place to stay.”
