Fantastic and somewhat eclectic variety of items but the real treasure here is the woman who was working there Sunday morning (7/30). In addition to being such a charming and pleasant person she was also just amazing in how helpful she was to people coming in the store. One poor woman was out of dog poop bags and the woman didn't hesitate to find her a couple small bags and give the dog a couple treats! We never got a chance to finish our shopping here but we'll be back in a few weeks. I see several xmas gifts with Emmy's name on them!

Wonderful store! Beautiful items. Emmy is the best. I bought a couple of items and left. Emmy found me in another store near by. She had mistakenly over charged me and left her store to find me. I was so surprised, I never would have know if she had not found me. She is the best. I highly recommend!!!!

Stopped at Emmy’s on Main this afternoon... our first time shopping in Essex in a very long time! What a unique little shop , reminds me of the shops in Ptown on the Cape. I must say that Emmy is a very nice pleasant shop owner. The store was nicely organized and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Emmy @ Emmy's On Main save the day for me! She had a lot of intriguing looking clothing outside blowing in the wind. Thank heavens that caught my eye. I was in the lovely town of Essex for my sister Amy's wedding and was looking for a shawl or a jacket for my dress. I had a Plan B just in case but luckily for me she had Plan A + for me. I found a beautiful, lace jacket in navy and just my size. Emmy was very helpful. Her lively store features many unique and beautiful pieces for woman of all sizes to dress in or top off an existing outfit. Thanks again Emmy! I'll be sure to stop in again whether I need something or not!

Great little store on Main Street. Fun selection of locally made candles and jewelry, as well as select handbags and some clothing. Very fun to pop in every once in a while!

My boyfriend and I were in Connecticut to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. We wanted to do a bit of hiking at Gillette Castle, but of course I forgot to bring my sneakers. We stopped in at a few shops in town to see if I could get a pair but unfortunately no one had anything that would work. The owner of this beautiful establishment, Emmy, was a lifesaver! This may sound strange, but she very kindly lent me a pair of her shoes that she had only worn once so that our plans would not be thwarted by my unpreparedness :) So, not only is Emmy a fantastic human being who saved our Anniversary Celebratory Weekend, but she owns a beautiful shop with lots of fantastic items for sale :) Definitely check out the "Mandles"! They smell awesome and would be a great gift for the men in your life! I know she is moving to a new location very soon and I wish her all the luck in the world!

I love this shop! Cute clothes, great jewelry and Essex items too! There is definitely something for everyone here! Not sure what to get someone for a gift? Emmy, the delightful owner, is happy to help! It's a must go stop for anyone in Essex. It's right at the beginning of Main street and there is on street and parking in the Provisions parking lot!
