“Excellent place to donate and shop. They are actually helping the community around them, so donations to Allied seem to truly further a good cause. Unlike other entities that have questionable "goodwill."”

“I have not shopped in Goodwill in a few years but came across some reviews of people complaining about prices. I wanted to chime in, defending the Goodwill. Sometimes an item donated may have a price on it, such a a book or a magazine, and the book was originally bought 20 years ago. What they should do is cross off old prices so customers don't see it. But that same book now is probably much higher in price and possibly in some cases could be worth a lot and you could actually be getting a real bargain! Comparing items to things you see at Marshall's (such as a lamp) etc., makes no sense. It's possible the original item was bought at Marshall's to begin with, which also is a reduced price store. You can't always find what you want at Marshall's. If you see something you like at Goodwill, then your should grab it because the chances of you getting the exact same item at another store for less is slim to none. Also, Goodwill isn't a tag sale. They have to pay bills to run a store, as well a employees. They would save people from complaining if they would remove prices tags left on items from the original stores. Someone commented that they could easily just go over to Platos Closet. LOL,... also used clothing, and if you already saw what you liked at Goodwill then why bother going over to Platos? Which by the way, is overpriced in my opinion.”

“The whole place was so nicely organized and the prices were extremely reasonable, the staff was SO sweet and though the collection was small they had a little bit of everything in every section. Highly recommend”

“A decent thrift store that has lots of stuff coming in daily. I shop here often, you never know what you will find. Unlike the "G-will" thrift stores, most of the items are laid out almost like a department store. Savers used to be cheaper but I have noticed that their prices have crept up. Overall, you can do well if you spend a little time hunting for bargains.”

“I buy 90% of my clothes here. I bought my couch and chair for only $100 practically new. Dishes. Pots pans and purses. Scarves. Kids books and cd's. And hair dryer. Cutlery. Picture frames. Endless stuff. Besides shoes. I prefer them new. But they have a good selection. Check out this store.”
