It’s a shame that stores like this are allowed to operate. Terrible confrontational owner who gets upset when you ask about prices of unmarked bottles on the shelf. Do yourself a favor and go to the next plaza down to Harry’s where he’s not going to rip you off!

The owner was SO RUDE Terrible customer service. I asked prices on two bottles of Rum that was expensive! It was actually triple the retail price! He was super annoyed over me asking a question about liquor that had no price on it. The owner was so rude to the point where I told him “LOVE ALWAYS WINS” You’re better off going to Hartford or Newington for better friendly service. Xoxo

Went in on a cold rainy day. Door to store was wide open and inside was freezing. Both items I wanted to purchase were $1 more than other local package stores. I bought anyway and was asked if I’d like a bag. Had I known I would be charged for the paper bag I would not have taken it. Won’t be back.

Terrible customer service. Asked prices on two bottles of expensive spirits that were of course triple the retail price there and got annoyed that a potential customer was trying to give them business. How about not marking up your bottles past even standard secondary prices and maybe put price tags up on your merchandise

This place to say the least has poor service and sketchy business practices. Was in there a couple days ago asking the price of a particular bottle. The response from the employee was “uhh how much are you willing to pay?”… This is a liquor store not an auction hall. I should have given up there. He then took my phone number to call me with a price. A couple hours go by, no call. I ended up calling back twice a couple hours apart and the manager would still not even tell me how much the bottle was, claiming he was too busy with a shipment to tell me the price??He then asked me during the second phone call, where I had gotten it in the past and how much I paid. What difference does it make? In the end he still never told me a price, just that hed call me back and let me know (which he never did).. This was the most recent experience.The first experience I had with this store was calling to see if they had a specific bottle in stock a couple months back with their reply being “I cant confirm or deny if we have it in stock. Youll have to come down and see.” Went down and didnt have it in stock..again sketchy practice, anything beyond the low end liquors are overpriced. Save yourself the time and frustration with liquor ox and go somewhere else thats honest and transparent so you dont have to deal with sketchy tactics. You can still get liquor out there without paying 4-5x what the product is worth. Im assuming this is why he was too embarrassed to tell me what he was charging.

Not honest nor transparent about pricing. When asking how much it was for a specific bottle on shelf, the employees response was " how much are you willing to pay" and then after multiple attempts the manager would still not provide me with a price leading me to believe they price gouge, which is apparent on the bottles they actually do label with a price. May be ok for beers or party drinks, but if you are looking for higher end alcohol, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.. I know I certainly wont be returning and will advise my whisky group to avoid and just go to one of the many others in the area.I have had other stores that play games but never one that actually refuses to tell you the price when you are there shopping in store and then gives you the runaround! Thats a new one for me. Plenty other honest and transparent stores around to give my business to that will actually tell me the price of their alcohol when asked

I went for a tequila for my nephew and the person who served me was very kind and helped me a lot to choose the tequila I recommend it the prices are very good
