The Home Depot in Enfield, Connecticut is a go-to destination for local residents' home improvement and gardening needs. Serving the community at 136 Elm Street, this location offers a wide variety of tools, appliances, outdoor furniture, building materials, and gardening supplies. Customers appreciate the user-friendly layout of the store and the knowledgeable staff who are ready to provide expert advice. While some reviewers note that the store could benefit from stocking more niche household items, the majority have positive experiences. One customer was particularly impressed with a manager who provided a discount on a delivery fee, demonstrating the store's commitment to excellent customer service. However, not all staff members have been as helpful, with some reports of rude behavior at the self-checkout. The plant selection at The Home Depot is a highlight for many, though some note that the plants are often overwatered. Customers wish the store would discount plants in need of rehabilitation rather than discarding them. For more specialized home repair items, some prefer to shop at smaller local hardware stores instead. Overall, The Home Depot in Enfield is a valuable resource for the community, providing a wide range of home improvement and gardening supplies. With continued focus on customer service and plant care, this location can maintain its position as a trusted neighborhood retailer.
Not enough help on floor. Both times I used the consultants for bathroom and kitchen it was not a great experience. Pushy towards what they wanted instead of what I did. Polite and professional, but found places that did exactly what I was looking for.

Bring a map and a compass because once you're inside, you're on your own. I'm not sure if anyone works here. It's all self checkout. It's like shopping online without a computer.

It's a home depot. They got most of what you would need to a home project.
