The items here are a bit overpriced. People shop here to get a deal.

A little overpriced for used clothes. They usually run out of the nice ones quickly.

Really overpriced..a small usb salt lamp I bought brand new at Marshall's for $8 is being sold used for $15...lots of other items priced the same way. The clothes and shoes are nicely organized then they have some items that aren't worth much locked up in a glass cabinet. If you read their responses to these reviews they say the same thing for years...it's the same scripted response. That shows me they have no intention of fixing the issue.

I have not shopped in Goodwill in a few years but came across some reviews of people complaining about prices. I wanted to chime in, defending the Goodwill. Sometimes an item donated may have a price on it, such a a book or a magazine, and the book was originally bought 20 years ago. What they should do is cross off old prices so customers don't see it. But that same book now is probably much higher in price and possibly in some cases could be worth a lot and you could actually be getting a real bargain! Comparing items to things you see at Marshall's (such as a lamp) etc., makes no sense. It's possible the original item was bought at Marshall's to begin with, which also is a reduced price store. You can't always find what you want at Marshall's. If you see something you like at Goodwill, then your should grab it because the chances of you getting the exact same item at another store for less is slim to none. Also, Goodwill isn't a tag sale. They have to pay bills to run a store, as well a employees. They would save people from complaining if they would remove prices tags left on items from the original stores. Someone commented that they could easily just go over to Platos Closet. LOL,... also used clothing, and if you already saw what you liked at Goodwill then why bother going over to Platos? Which by the way, is overpriced in my opinion.

I'm not one to really leave reviews, kinda a quite yelper/thrifter but this was so ridiculous. All the other comments that this Goodwill location is super over priced, that the person who's pricing needs to calm down, 100% right. For example I was going to buy a bunch of frames, almost all of them were ehh for the quality but all priced between $12-$20. If I wanted full priced frames, I would of gone to Walmart or home goods. Their purses which are very worn, all priced between $12-$18. I found a Prada bag and I was like ok this store is looking up, the bog was worn and may have been a fake based on the lining but I was like wth, why not. There was no price on it, so I asked someone, first person said $40, I was like oh ok, then the manager (I think) comes up and goes 'no, it's $60.' I was like ok I'll just leave it, then she goes 'well it's, Prada what did you expect.' Like damn, ok lol, my bad. The cashier moves on to scan my other items, two of which were identical but one had a price tag from its original store ( and a goodwill tag for $12) and the other not, but when the manger came she said there was a $20 price difference, one $15 the other $35. When I asked why, the manger goes, 'we'll when an item is priced this high we don't put so low a tag on it' I asked why then was the other item, exactly the same, only $15 and she goes 'well I'll let that item slide, but the other is $35, I would know I priced it myself'. Slide as if I was taking something or stealing. For Gods sake, they get everything free, I know they're a for profit organization but damn. I love goodwill and thrift stores but this one has lost my business. After the manager walked away, I told the cashier to forget it and left all the items I originally picked. :( 2/5 starts bc the other workers that were present were very nice an courteous.

I’ve been going to this fine store for a while, but had to lower my review due to the fact that the music in the store has changed; from a variety of different songs to the same 4 or 5 instrumental songs that seem to give myself and those around me a headache. Will this be permanent?

Always fun going here! I have found some treasures and the people there are always kind and helpful! I read some bad reviews, but the prices I find are usually spot on. Collectible things like people commented on go UP in value and the workers price accordingly. The place is always clean. This is one of my favorite thrift stores...oh no..now the secret is out!!! Glen is an awesome manager too, as are all the staff.

I'm so confused they closed all the decent Goodwill's around western mass but this super over priced store is still around. You guys receive items for free, how and why would you mark up your prices to almost a retail store. The weird guy with the white hair who creepily walks and makes people uncomfortable. I don't know who runs that store or who the owner is don't really care at this point what's the point of paying $50 for a jacket if I can go across the street to Plato's.

Do your research before buying from this place. The managers there are horrible, especially the shorter women manager. You can find things cheaper online. Tried explaining that some games they were charging $15 for could be bought for the same price at stateline video games in holyoke mall. Her response was "thats how we do things, people buy them". If that doesn t explain there mission, I dont know what does. This is a goodwill store with no goodwill! I'm sure this isn't the only store like this.

The amount of foul language coming from the back room is appalling. There’re was male associate talking loud about his hatred towards ethnic groups and the lgbtq community. How a business can employ people of hate is beyond my comprehension. Shame on you goodwill.

Goodwill has a vast collection of both used and new items such as clothing, shoes glass, toys and many other items, too many to mention.
