App locked me out, which is what I usually use, so decided, hey no big deal, I'll use my debit card. I TOTALLY regret that choice, as after I got back home and went to bed, I started getting ping after ping of attempts to purchase .29, 2.99, 4.99, etc, at the Apple store - I don't have any Apple products, and with this location being the ONLY place I used my debit card in almost two weeks, I knew it was this location that had the skimmer on its pumps. Highly recommend NOT using ANY physical cards here if you can avoid it, or just getting gas and whatever from somewhere else.

I recently had a fantastic experience at this Cumberland Farms! The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful, she went out of her way to make my day! Which made my visit truly enjoyable. What stood out the most was their hot food station! It was full of quite a few choices and HOT. I'll definitely be returning for more great service.

Staff are extremely rude and unprofessional and unable to obtain manager information when asked to address or remedy an altercation. Redeeming lottery is a major hassle expecting general public to be aware of story policies without displaying formal notice and not properly cashing lottery awarded amount. When asked to speak to manager, staff refused to provide identifying information after engaging in an provocative altercation with customer. Horrible customer service.

The employees are rude. I went in for lunch to get 2 hot dogs. This was at 12:30. There was only 1 hotdogs. the special is 2 for 3. I asked if there were more hotdogs. Anna said no. They are not ready. I asked if that meant I can get the hotdogs for 1.50 as the special is 2 for 3 and they do not have more. She cut me off and said no. It will be full price. She was rude.

This place has gone down hill drastically. Gas is definitely more then other gas stations in the area now also. There is a guy who is miserable all the time. Definitely not very inviting at all. They have taken away all the good tea they used to sell. Honest and pure leaf teahouse collection which leaves you with tons of just high sugar tea that taste terrible. They never have the larger Fiji water anymore in stock. To be honest I'm just done with this location along with many others. Cumberland is just now another chain store and losing quality all around. The store accros the street is cheaper and staff is way more friendly. Byyyyyee. Stafford springs store is the same also but at least has a good staff that is inviting.

There’s an old man who works there who is very incompetent, rude and seems like he hates his life and his job. I specifically avoid this cumberlands because of the two old hags that work there. There’s also a very grumpy old lady who works nights there that’s very rude and miserable. I understand working at a gas station when your old because you’ve amounted to nothing in life is probably not very enjoyable but being rude to customers and making them not wanna come back isn’t okay either. They should be ashamed. Old people man.

Worst Cumberland farms in the area. Do yourself a favor and go to the Vernon one just a few minutes away. Ever since the new manager took over everything has gone downhill. Seems like there are new employees every week since the new manager came in. Employees do little to nothing and manager does nothing about it. I’ve gone there and grabbed food from the warmer expired but they don’t care. Time for Cumberland corporation to just shut this store down.

I came to the branch at the Ellington, CT traffic circle and the doors were locked and lights on at gas pumps and inside. However, the sign on the doors said " OPEN 24 HOURS ". Now I can understand if things need to be protected at times. However, this is very poor business. I then went to the branch across the street from panda palace in Vernon, CT. That too was closed and had lights on. I finally went further towards Vernon Circle area on Rt 83 and that one was open. All I have to say is this was poor service all around. I am very displeased with the displaying of service hours and showing of opened or closed.

Recently moved to Ellington Connecticut to be with our family here. Our daughter introduced me to Cumberland Farms iced tea and I cannot live without it! It taste like real tea! It’s refreshing, it’s always fresh and I just love it. The area is always clean and neat and makes you feel comfortable just buying the iced tea at a gas station! I much prefer Cumberland Farms iced tea to many restaurants.

Very weird and rude staff, always feels uncomfortable going into here. I’d rather go to one of the stores in Vernon, and given that both of them are terrible too, that’s really saying something. Also closes at midnight, making the area even more barren at night than it already was. Smh

This is a pretty amazing location, it goes to show it's all about the people and little to do with the branding. This little convenient store is staffed with happy and out-going employees, my first visit was fun yes I said fun as strange as that sounds being this is a C-store where prices, efficiency and the quality of the product should be the determining factor to be a frequent visitor here. I am not from this area so I originally stopped in because my friend told me this was the best coffee bar around, any size hot or ice coffee is ninety ninety cents and it's totally free on Friday and that's a great perk, but it's the selection and freshness that hooked me along with the interaction with the staff. I never ready prepared my own iced coffee since I usually prefer mine hot although in the warmer months this is an option I frequently choose. Creating a great iced coffee is a process which I understand now but never appreciated and is probably one of the reasons I've never been a fan of it from a drive-through (it definitely requires some thought). The recipe for a perfect iced coffee in my opinion: Grab a large plastic cup - add granular sugar into the empty cup - add a few inches of hot coffee to completely melt the sugar I prefer the Rwanda blend to accomplish this - fill the cup with ice this will prevent the cup from melting - add fresh cream - fill the remaining space with more hot coffee I pick a second type for this, today it was a bold blend, stir to mix and chill, pop on the top and grab a straw... I do a lot of drive-throughs out of convenience and hope for a nice cup of coffee - this is a guaranteed way to ensure you get it your way for a fraction of the price and it also slows the world down for a few minutes. I'm learning we don't always need to be in such a hurry and this place helps instills that mind set...
