The teller that worked on getting my cashier check was nice and quick. They did not give me a hard to when I wanted to withdrawal a certain amount. This location is better than the one I've recently been to.

I recently opened a new checking account online with M&T. I called in to their customer service center soon after to confirm that the account was open as I was having issues transferring funds into the account. I was told that I would need to stop into a branch to verify my ID before the account could be opened to transactions. I went to the East Windsor branch on August 11th. The young woman at the drive through window had a desk phone to her ear when I pulled up and neither greeted me or even reacted other than to stop talking to whom ever was on the phone and stare blankly at me. I said good morning and told her what I needed. She told me to send my ID through the window, which I did. She came back a few minutes later, I asked her if my account was all set to which she said “I uploaded your ID to the system, I guess you’re good to go.” My fault for not coming inside and speaking to a manager to confirm but I was in a hurry. 30 minutes later I attempted a transfer and it failed. In the meantime, I sent a photo of my drivers license to M&T and e-signed the deposit agreement per their email to me. Today I called customer service again to confirm all was well and after a 15 minute hold, I was told that the person at the branch never uploaded my ID and my photo ID and e-sign attempts were not successful. Would be nice if someone let me know?? My account isn’t even open yet and I’ve dealt with complete incompetency and poor customer service in this branch. Good luck!

The manager there is always friendly but unfortunately this one teller is so rude after specifically trying to avoid her and her attitude at all costs i closed my account after 9 years … I believe she is always wearing a black shall to keep covered she is pregnant but I’m sorry major attitude and hormones or not ..this woman is not cut out for customer service. When you are rolling your eyes and talking about customers to other tellers while the customer is standing there and can hear you .. there is not much left to be said..Good by peoples United and good luck

Everyone there was helpful, and knowledgeable. In and out quickly with 4 different issues fixed completely! My only issue is the ATM never having cash, but this branch doesn’t handle that. So it’s not really the banks issue

Very unpleasant experience. Unprofessional staff . They need to be educated on how things work. It's a joint account means two owners of account if one is depositing a check other person doesn't have to be there. Unless cashing a large check. Manager as well as tellers have no knowledge of this. And that's a shame!!!

They really need some friendly staff in this branch
