Consistently poor front end staff. Several have been rude and disrespectful. Only place you can spend hundreds of dollars and treated terribly. And you know it’s pretty bad when other store employees come up and say yeah that wasn’t very nice.Management should never tolerate this kind of Poor behavior/disrespect of the customer. Michelle was awful - And her poor coworkers who have to work with her had to apologize for her behavior. Thank I’ll give ShopRite at home delivery a try.

Today Store manager Katina excused the verbal abuse of an employee towards a customer by saying that the employees are stressed out. The employee used racist remarks and threatening language regarding the customer's use of a face mask. The employee also remarked to a co-worker "Ha, what are they going to do? Fire us"?

Once again very unfriendly store tried to get an employees attention they ignored me!! Finally got someone to acknowledge me when I asked them how to scan something they said "I don't know anything about the computers ! What how bout finding someone who can answer my question . This store is the absolute worst

Stopped by to pick up a few items I needed. Walked in, saw bing cherries. When I commented at the low $0.99 price, another shopper on her phone said: You have to download the S&S app to get the digital coupon and it’s very frustrating to do. So I proceeded to TRY to download it also at that moment - while trying to shop and get back home. Needless to say, we put the Cherries back because I didn’t have my s&s card# etc..... to complete the sign in to s&s. I then find out that

Always a great store with low prices. Bakery and seafood shops always have those fresh items. This is our go to grocery store for all our needs. Works well that we get rewatd points on purchases to use as gas points.

I was looking to buy some precut fruit and vegetables because I was in a hurry. I picked up three containers they were all out of date. The produce guy was right there and he says sometimes we miss them I picked up three more and they were out of date too! Every time I go there the lines are so long and the wait is terrible.

Stop & Shop should pray that Publix or Wegman's doesn't expand out of the south and into CT. Stew Leonard's, hear our plea. Newington is too far away. We need a good grocery store in East Lyme. Any of the above and S&S will be out of business in a month. Maybe when Costco opens next year they'll improve, but I doubt it.
