i called and made an appointment for 6:30 for a full set of acrylic nails. they close at 7:30 and i asked if that was going to be enough time. the answer i got was yes. the woman doing my nails was not friendly. she also rushed through my nails. they are all different shapes; some of them are wider than other and others r skinny. also, my thumb nail broke less than 24hrs after i got them. will not be coming back here

While I normally never give bad reviews & avidly hate to, cleanliness is one thing that I definitely notice. I was cut (pretty badly) during my service taking my old dip powder/gems off, which happens and truly is not the biggest deal. I assured them that it was fine, but due to the amount of blood coming out asked that they keep away from the injury. Not only did they not clean the deep cut properly before preceding, but dunked that entire nail into the dip powder (which was a lovely color btw). I’m truly sorry for anyone else choosing that color considering my blood is now mixed in with it. Everyone was very kind and the owner did try to compensate with a coupon for the next time. The people who work here are very kind but the protocol for blood born pathogens is not up to par in the slightest (coming from a registered hairdresser who is certified in sanitation requirements).

I enjoyed my visit for a basic pedicure. They give you mini water bottles which is nice. My nail tech was great. My one star deduction is due to the wait-- I made an appointment online and still waited 20ish minutes. I get for walk ins but appointments should be honored by starting somewhat on time. Also, the fumes in the room are very overpowering-- they need to do something about ventilation.

I had come recently from a different nail tech in the area, wanting to try somewhere new that actually did a bit more modern style nails.. I had stumbled upon them, went in one day out of the blue to do my nails right before closing time and the nails had been done to perfection, the feel of them the look of them all EXPERTLY DONE-Told everyone how beautifully this place had done my nails - the shape, the design all of it was perfect!! I loved the nails that when filling time came I did the same exact style. Yesterday I came in to do a filling and wanting to change the design … I came with a photo and politely asked if the style (Aura design) was possible and that if not it was fine I could chose something else. I was told … “we can do this” “not a problem” even showed a video reference just in case.. it’s alright we can do it - they in fact could not so when I saw it was not working I said ok it’s ok I’ll just do a French (which is my go to when I am over it, because you can’t really mess up a French) but wrong again, you can mess up a dam French, there is so much product on my nails it atrocious. In one hand there are GLOBS of gel polish on the nails, they are so thick, they are misshapen, one hand seems to have had gel base cost and the other does not, (which is from when we wiped off the previous design) in some nails I still see the flowers I had on from the previous set .. simply horrible - that same nail dedication and technique that was given the first two times I went was NONE EXISTENT yesterday … I had my child with me and because we had already been there some time I did not stay to have it fixed - I was livid and just needed to leave… I gave this two stars because the nails done before were fantastic

It took me until 31-years-old to find a place that I liked enough to make it my regular place. Nail City is it! Easy scheduling, tons of options, reasonable prices.

My nail broke after a week but they were nice. I went back to have the nail fixed and the guy nail tech took forever because he was trying to multitask, my nail was fixed but it was the wrong shape lol so he said to wait a week again. They are decent people though.

I visited Nail City when I was in town for a weekend and it was amazing. No where around me (in MA) allows online reservations which this place does. I got there early for a gel pedicure and they sat me right away. The attention to detail was amazing. Seems like every service includes a massage at the end which was wonderful. Overall an awesome experience and will definitely be back next time I’m in town

They were great with my 7-year-old! I recommend the "new pedicure" for your kid if they like slime! They painted her finger nails while waiting for her pedicure to dry. This was her first time getting her nails done at the salon and she loved it! My pedicure was great also, they did cut my cuticle a little short on one of my toes, so it's sore today, but it has happened to me many times before at a lot of different places. Overall, I would recommend this place!

This nail salon does great work. I've never been disappointed. I wear mine squared off. Not a lot of salons do that shape justice. They work with precision, and the price is very competitive.

I love Michael he’s so kind and professional staff is great but there is one girl who is rude every time I call to make an appointment and it is starting to discourage me from continuing business here I have been getting my pedicures here for about 3 yrs now and it’s uncomfortable to be spoken to with such attitude when I’m only trying to book an appointment other wise I love the rest of the staff ❤️

I had a gel manicure done here a while ago and it was great! Clean salon and my manicure was beautiful. I have no complaints about this experience.
Fast forward to today. I was gifted a gel manicure to a different salon for Christmas and came to this salon to have it removed. Typically when I’ve had UV gel removed, it’s been through a combination of the drill and acetone. Today, the tech who removed my gel solely used a very hard grit drill bit to take my gel off, leaving my nails paper thin with serious texture and drill marks on them. My nail beds turned bright red and have been stinging all afternoon. I don’t usually get gel manicures, but after this experience I don’t think I will ever get gel again.

I appreciate Michael's work. He shapes the acrylics to meet my needs. His coworkers help provide feedback on the design, helps find the polish of my design selection and they communicate well with each other to see my question come to fruition I appreciate it as always Thank you
