Come here for the slowest service you could imagine. Banker Kelsha was trying to train someone how to do something she didn’t even know how to do. She asked another staff for help who also did not know what to do, while manager Portia stood around and listened to the whole exchange without offering help. Kept asking them what else they needed because I have a hungry crying baby in the car with my bf. Said I needed a signature so I said let me sign it now and they avoided the question. Finally I called the manager over and she waited to finish using the money counter to come speak to me while the other equally unhelpful employee was standing next to her doing nothing and could’ve taken over. When she finally came over she gave me the paper to sign and I was on my way. Had I not asked for the manager I guarantee I would’ve been in there for an hour waiting on these highly incompetent staff to finish. If you’re being paid to do a job, know how to do it. Will most likely not be banking with Webster anymore as their service in person and on the phone is SO ghetto

I was just at the East Hartford location today 8/21/23 around 1pm. I had a check written out to me but the person who sent it didn’t have the best penmanship so the drive thru teller who took customers inside refused it because the letter N in my last name looked more like an L..first, I waited hell a long time & then couldn’t cash it. I went to my bank with no issues & I’ll inform my friend who sent me this check to close out her accounts and join my bank. Webster bank is too political for me.

I normally wouldn't take the time to review any product or service, but I have never received worse service in my entire life from any company. I've been a business client of this organization for over 7 years and in that time I've seen it go from a friendly, helpful organization to one that does not care about me as a client and does not want to help solve my issues that are 99% of the time, created by the bank itself. If I could bill this organization for the amount of time that I've spent on call trees and with unhelpful and uncaring representatives, I would be in line for quite the windfall.

visited this bank a couple weeks ago. Staff was very professional. There was a teller by the same of Saril Cornello that assisted me with an issue I had ordering the wrong check. She was outstanding at resolving my issue. She helped me with my account. Couldn't ask for better service.

I have been with this bank for over 10years and never had any issues until I deposited my money into the drive-up ATM. The machine took most of my money then didn't register the amount taken and stopped working. I went in to start a dispute and it's been over a month now and the provisional credit I did receive was reversed thanks to the investigator in Nebritian by the name of Teddy from the dispute team. So Mr. Air head Teddy feels that I am lying but he did not check any security cameras to validate my claims nor do he even know which machine I deposited my money into even though he was given all of this information beforehand. I provided Air head Teddy all of the pertinent data such as date/time of occurrence, machine used, and amount taken yet he refuses to fully investigate and he closed my case. I guess he enjoys sitting behind a computer and playing with people's livelihood. Also, be careful about using their ATMs as they do not own them, so if anything happens with your card or money trust and believe they will make you wait until the next service date to even attempt to look at the problem regarding the machine. DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!! IF YOU HAVE TO DISPUTE ANYTHING THEY WILL MAKE YOU JUMP THROUGH HOOPS FOR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! I WILL BE CLOSING ALL MY ACCOUNTS!!! Also, this branch sucks!

Way to go Webster Bank in East Hartford!Since when does a BANK not exchange CASH for CASH...aka 5 20$ bills for a 100$ bill?You can CASH my check every week...make change for my job...AND you know who I am...but all of a sudden you have a problem exchanging bills for me?I could see if I were someone walking in off the street that you DIDN'T KNOW...but THIS is ridiculous!!#whateverhappenedtogoodcustomerservice

Almost every time I come here to use the drive up atm to deposit checks "that function isnt available" This is the only location that I consistently have this problem with, and unfortunately the closest location to my house otherwise I would not frequent here for how often that happens.

If you’re looking for a bank look anywhere else besides Webster. I’ve been with them for about 4 years now and have had almost nothing but complaints. Today was the last straw when my wallet was stolen, ID, Cards, everything. Customer service told me I could use any banking center to get a temp atm card. Not debit. Atm. All I needed was MY MONEY IN THIS BANK for a haircut and they proceeded to tell me that I couldn’t withdraw money or get an ATM card. I’m done. The customer service of this bank is terrible. I’ll be closing all accounts once my new ID comes in. But overall this may be the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with, especially this branch.

I been coming to this Webster bank for awhile now. They always welcome you when you walk in.The supervisor Sandra is very professional, and very accommodating.The tellers are very helpful, and very friendly. The. Transactions are always done in a timely manner. No complaints here! One of the best branches around.

The worst customer service, waited on drive thru for 24 minutes for a withdrawal, Unbelievable and the best part is that there is no communication. May be Webster should hire quality staff.
