First time ever getting anything from Rent a center. My experience has been a good one from start to finish. Customer service has been very good, payment are reasonable. Overall happy!

The East Hartford location is ran by a bunch of unprofessional hoodboogers who have no real idea what customer service is. Not even sure how it’s still in business.

Could be a great establishment and company to work for. Unfortunately with the pieces they have at play I don’t see how they can sell anything. I’m still getting over the fact that the manager screamed across the show floor “spik” to another customer. I being Hispanic found this beyond uncomfortable. How could you not be racist and yell such a derogatory term. Every black person was looked at in fine detail to make sure they were good “enough” customers. Most black customers are turned on solely based off their looks. I had multiple customers that would of been great customers…if given the chance. The amount of black and Spanish customers that were looked up through a system they have was so unreliable. Old names and dates that would be tied to address. This system fails because management can’t see passed color. And I mainly mean Jessica. I’m No I’m not a disgruntled employee, I left on my own terms. Just don’t want to see other employees

I urge you not to buy anything in this place everything is over price, staff is very rude and disrespectful they start calling you early morning the day your payment is due and if you miss a payment they will be knocking in your door the next morning. Definitely the worse customer service also the manager seems not to care about anything her employees do or say. Don’t waste your money.
