Received great care. Staff was not overly friendly but she was not rude either. She was professional and quick: in and out in 10 minutes with an appointment. Did not require masks (as I saw that might be an issue from other reviews). Satisfied customer here!

My doctor had sent me to get some blood drawn at Quest Diagnostics. I scheduled an appointment on their website for 8:20 am, in East Hartford. It was very easy to get to. Once I arrived at the building, I took the stairs to the second floor. The door was clearly marked that it was Quest Diagnostics. Inside I found a very clean waiting area, with plenty of chairs, and a check in kiosk. Here you can scan your drivers license and insurance card. Then, after a short wait a phlebotomist called me to come into the phlebotomy room to get started. The room was small, with green walls and some statistical information printed on the walls. The young, female phlebotomist entered my information into the computer, and asked me if I had been fasting on this morning. I told her I had. She didn't need my insurance card, since I had already entered it into the kiosk. As much as I don't love needles, and situations like this where there's no way that they can be avoided, my best strategy is to not look. I placed my arm on the armrest, while she tied the blue elastic around my arm. I felt a poke, after a minute I turned around, to find that nothing was done. All of the vials were empty. "I couldn't find a vain" she told me. Ok, I'm no expert, but I'm not sure what she meant, when she poked me right in the center of one. This is what really upset me. She moved the elastic to my wrist. I told her she could try my other arm. "We're going to try right here" she told me, as she pointed to my hand. Yes, she drew four vials of blood from the dorsal side of my hand. She didn't even give me a proper band aid. This was five days ago, and my hand is still turning various shades of bruise. I also felt very light headed and very hot. I asked for some water, she told me, "you can find it on your way out". I didn't like that she didn't go to my other arm, before she went to my hand. I also have a bruise on the area where the job wasn't successful. Thank you for reading this very long review. I will end with these final words. Every job is not for everyone.

Personally, staff were very nice with me and no issues. Make sure you have a valid appointment and there may be a little wait time.

Extremely rude! Turned me and my daughter down with an adittude because we did not have a mask on WHILE THE MANDATE WAS already down! Could definitely have been more professional! Scared stay home smh

Horrible customer service. I came in for my pregnancy blood work and tried checking in, system said it couldn't find me (even though I had my appointment confirmation) so had to check in as a walk in. Waited for about 20 minutes when Fran came out immediately with an attitude. Instead of being reasoning and understanding she was automatically defensive, rude, and loud. Instead of first trying to assist she literally walked off in the middle of me talking then refused to share her name. Came back out and did offer to check me in and gave me her name, but I did not have time to wait another hour- hence why I booked an appointment in the first place. The confirmation gives you a leeway of 10 minutes to check in, but apparently they don't care and "they can't control what the computer says" completely unprofessional and I'd never trust someone who has such a disgusting attitude off the bat to stick needles into me.

Look for another location!Awful experiences at this location. Every time I’ve had an appointment issues checking in at this location. Staff member extremely unhelpful rude and unprofessional. I’ve been to other locations without any issues.

I love having my blood work done at this place!! It's clean, never a long wait and the women technician is very professional with a great personality!! Technician at other locations always have a hard time locating my veins but not at this location!! The technician at this place always gets results on the first hit!! I love it!!!!!

Unprofessional staff. To start my daughter has not had great experiences in the past getting bloodwork done because she has small veins so I was really hoping this would be more of a positive experience for her since it's been a few years. When we walked in I asked one of the staff that came out if she had a mask for us. She immediately looked at my daughter and started telling us that we were going to be fined $250 for walking into a building without a mask on and that it was against the law. She continued to rant and threaten on and on about being fined for well over a minute. I was so confused because we asked her for a mask! We didn't refuse to wear one or have an attitude about having to wear one... Why was she talking to us like this? My daughter was very irritated after she was so rude and we ended up walking out and going somewhere else. This staff needs to know how much her attitude effects the patients coming in here. They are already scared, maybe even terrified because they have to get bloodwork done. If anything the phlebotomist should be warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed environment for people who are coming in nervous. Now I have doubts about going quest at all.

My daughter has been sick for 2 months and due to misinformation, lost, mislabeled and finally contaminated samples. We still do not have an answer. Starting over AGAIN to try to find an answer with anyone but quest. Thanks for my daughter's continued suffering

This place is the best, renovated and look so clean, the Spanish Phlebotomist is so wonderful,painless and qick, I recommend this site special the Phlebotomist (I think her name is Fran), Thank y Quest to have Phlebotomist who care and make it easier for peoples like me who is scare by needle.

No notifications on website regarding appointments only, had to walk in due to recieving lab slip late. Told to leave and was laughed at by tech,. Disgusted and unprofessional.

The latina denied me service because I didn't have a mask. I told her my mask fell on the ground its raining. Well i cant help you because I order and they didn't come in. All this she said in Spanish so no one else could here her lame excuse to denied me service.I hope this place gets shut down. The staff is terrible.
