“Ms. Sharon and her team are very pleasant and always ready to assist customers. On one extremely busy day while waiting in a long cue, over the Christmas holidays, one customer burst into singing a carol to cheer the staff on. Everyone in the cue joyfully joined in. The staff was so grateful. In fact, it was a great experience to witness the community spirit because of the hard-working staff at this post office.There are cards and shipping supplies available for purchase as well as ample parking, including handicap access.”

“By far my favorite post office, they are kind every time you go, and they are extremely knowledgeable, and will help you ship something as cheaply as possible. One thing to note is a few years ago the post box in front got broken into and things stolen, and there is no camera on the front of the building! So if you’re mailing something important go inside to drop it off.”

“Clean lobby and friendly staff. Better stamp variety at Poquonock post office. Either no one is in line or 20 people are in line. Training seems to happen often so the available staff knows the basics.”
“Decent if you're using the self-service kiosk. There are times when it may be acting up, no physical receipt, trouble with the label scanner, but you can always have the digital copy sent to your email. Great for busy ebay and Amazon sellers.”
“Was here yesterday (1/23/24) for a passport renewal. Asia was so helpful and kind. Was in and out within minutes. She was so patient even during the photo taking for the passport. Highly recommended for passport applications and renewals.”

“Be forewarned that this is a very popular local post office and usually has long lines. I prefer this post office; however, because the staff are invariably hardworking, knowledgeable, and professional. I regularly have to send packages to my daughter at her university in another country. “Its a small post office, usually only one employee working at a time. They are always very polite and helpful. They are closed between 1pm and 2pm during the week, monday through friday. It is always clean and neat and organized.”
“Typically efficient, and I'm able to get in & out in a reasonable amount of time.
Once in a while, they have fewer staff and if you happen to walk in at the same time as a bunch of others the wait can be longer. However, you can't plan for this.”

“Jackie is extremely helpful at this post office. My mail was getting forwarded from Stamford, CT to Hartford, CT when it shouldn’t have been. After 2 weeks of getting no help, Jackie helped me and was able to recover the missing mail and mail it to me personally. “I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. I am a customer here more than 2 years and I have never faced with any described issues. The staff is always friendly and helpful, especially Vikki - she is the best! Often I fly to this post office at 4.57 pm and I always get service without any attitude. Based on my experience I could say that the most of people who left negative reviews just did not want to cooperate if something was going wrong and blamed post office team.”
