I made an appointment during the winter later in the week it was actually on a Saturday. I had called earlier and week, like a Tuesday to say I’m concerned about snow on Saturday and getting up my driveway because it is steep at the beginning and they said, “don’t worry about it and just keep your appointment”, so I did. Saturday came and there was light snow as predicted, with clearing in the afternoon. That morning a technician sent me a text early in the morning saying that I needed to provide him a full use of a two bay garage as well as having my 650 foot driveway fully rock salted and cleared before he would come. I was amazed and surprised of this request, I was never told I needed to provide this prior to making an appointment. Even as I expressed concern for snow. On top of this it would also would cost me probably a $100 in rock salt to cover my driveway. I will NEVER call this people again.

I had my 2019 Forester's windshield replaced recently. Glass America in East Hartford did a great job in just a couple of hours including the EyeSight calibration. The interior dashboard area and trim was very clean. They also made the whole process easy and accommodating including working directly with my insurance company.

They are irresponsible, not reliable, they gave me an appointment to change the windshield of my car and to confirm I called a day before, they told me that everything was fine that they already have the windshield the same day they gave me the appointment, the next day a few Minutes before arriving at the place they called me saying that the windshield has not arrived and that they can give me another appointment.

This company is awful, worst experience ever! Made the appointment waited the 8 days for them to come out and on the morning they were suppose to arrive they called and said that the wrong windshield had arrived. I can understand that, no problem. Then we waited another 8 days for a different appointment and when they arrived they said that they ordered the wrong windshield and when we asked when the correct windshield would be available we were told that a representative will call us back. When the representative finally called back we were told that they no longer make that replacement windshield. Well, make up your mind, which is it, the wrong windshield arrived, you ordered the wrong windshield or they no longer make the windshield. Horrible.

11-9-23 they broke into my car and broke my window and I being having a lot of personal problems and Jessica and Mark was very helpful with me I wish I can give them more then 5 starts for what they done to me… God bless you guys and bless y’all company thank you????Service: Auto side window replacement

Absolutely pleased with the professionalism, value and quick turnaround time to install a new front windshield on my 2019 Toyota Highlander. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and I was out the door in just under 60 minutes. Early this summer, I was duped into believing that I should go to the Toyota dealership for the same replacement service on my daughter's 2016 Toyota Highlander. I had to leave it overnight and the price was more than double! Thank you Glass America!

My insurance company assigned Hlass America- East Hartford company for windshield replacement. They never called me back. A week later I attempted to call them 3 times and was put on permanent hold 3 different times. When I finally reached a person he told me Jessica would call me back but she never did. I called the next day and was told my windshield was on back order by the Mfg. I called Subaru and was told they had plenty in stock for my specific vehicle. I called my insurance to switch glass vendors. They reassigned me to Safelite. I had a new windshield installed in less than 24 hours from Safelite in West Hartford.

This company replaced my rear hatch window and five days later (even though I had not opened or closed it), it broke again. They came to my house and replaced it again, blaming faulty glass. The hatch latch is now coming off of the window again, I called the company, and they were going to call me with a time that they would come out yesterday. Well, no call in the morning, when we called and asked for a time, we were told the technician would be out later in the day. No call, no visit. This company does faulty, shoddy, work and does not, in my opinion stand by their work. I would not recommend anyone using them.

Had a crack making its way up the windshield. Was looking for a place that used OEM glass.I once had a windshield replaced at one of the big name, advertised a lot, places and IT SUCKED.Had this weird chromatic aberration going on at one side... hated it.So now we were back in the same boat, hoping to find a place that wouldnt suck.Glass America didnt suck. Insurance covered everything. One guy showed up when he was supposed to, and replaced the entire windshield of a full-size Chevy Silverado , in the driveway, in no time at all.Couldn't tell the difference between the factory glass and the new glass, flawless job.I would use em' again.
