I never went to aldis before but been getting told their products and pricing are better . For starters why do I need a quarter to get a cart? Like it’s 2024 are you serious? Then I walk inside to find specific items (chai seeds , flaxseeds) the signs are not specific at all just says “snacks’ , Vegetables’ , fruit’. No one in the location looked presentable so I didn’t dare ask for help. Figuring the seeds would be with the oats , only displayed sunflower seeds next to the oats . I don’t care how much cheaper your produce or other items are . If my shopping is consistently getting inconvenient then I’m not spending 1¢ with that business . Highly doubt I’ll ever step foot into any Aldi after today . ShopRite , even if your brand new has signs with in categories very specific, very visible. People ask me if I need help looking for something right at the door . They deserve every dollar from me and I’m keeping it that way. I’d rather go to C town than this dinosaur of a grocery store .

All of your employees here in East hartford Connecticut Aldi are so amazing except to this young Spanish lady employee named SAM..not totally necessary about her bad approach to me having to move quick while i'm in the front of the cold cuts ham section, trying to choose what best ham I can get..and there she is telling me to move the way ,coz someone is at my back...(I'm already all the way to the side and her looking at me like commanding me and i look at her and she is saying something smart like she want to argue..here her she got a big cart thats not even full of grocery products up filling up from the shelves instead of make a way coz you see all customers walking and your cart is in our way..why you didn't make a way for the all customers to walk by like every employee does here??..theres near her 5 inches away from her on other isle that she can park that cart so it's not in everybody's way..instead of asking me nicely.she looks like he want to fight with me that why I get steamed and whenni walk away she is still talking like she wnat to get square with me..so i went to a side to clear up that attitude and i asked her why whats wrong with my eyes looking at you.. ( people don't know if a customer is having ahrd tome walking or cant eveb move fast..no initiative..you see some people behind me..as an employee find some way so that people not stucked because of your big cart...I always come here and do groceries never had a problem to them. but this is the first time I experienced like this..only to HER! ...im nit working there so that command like im your worker...All employees are very nice and very approachable except to HER! not trying to be so mad at here but she should suppose not to do that kind of way asking and have a conversation to one of the CUSTOMERS..that's not cool...very ghetto attitude..you didn't know that attitude of your can make me run to the emergency just because you make my blood very high..and when that happen to me it's your fault .employee like you don't deserve to work there..if you don't feel working..don't come..you make your customer dint feel comfortable in your own store..not good model of a employee.

To whom it concerns, customer service is terrible, two gentlemen who work there who I can identify are rude to the customer. I had a bad experience on two occasions which discouraged my purchases and encouraged this company, please beware of this bad behavior on their part. from them. I strongly urge you to take action on this.

Well, in this expensive economy I'm a competitive shopper. Aldi is cheaper than costco and bjs and offers the same oz and weight. Example, Aldi's ground beef is cheaper than both retailers I mentioned, and Aldi's ground beef even at same % of fat content when cooked has way way less grease and more actual ground beef than it's competitors. I boil the ground beef and make broth with the juices, and then we eat the ground beef. The amount of actual grease is far less at Aldi. It seems Aldi has better quality control of its products.

Good prices. Sometimes, I'm confused with the price tags on the shelf. Season items like toys and clothes are always a mess. I like that you are always bringing new stuff. Just keep them organized.
