I have lived in Enfield for over 10 years and I don't know what took me so long to stop into this little hidden gem! I met Tim that day and we designed the flowers for my upcoming wedding. He shared ideas with me from his many years experience and was so insightful and helpful and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things! The entire place is absolutely adorable and homemade candy looks and smells amazing! I came home and told my kids about it and they stopped in the same day! We will definitely be frequent customers! A place like this where they treat you like family and obviously take pride in what they do is so refreshing and definitely one I want to give my business to ! Highly recommended!

Just received a gift of chocolate from Snelgrove’s What a disappointment. The chocolate left a stale aftertaste. Looked pretty but taste was disappointing. Prices were left on the package and I found for the taste it was overpriced. I won’t be buying from them again

So disappointed in the quality of the chocolate. Looked like a nice place when driving by and stopped in. Got a mixed box of chocolates and 2 scoops of ice cream. The ice cream was good. The mixed chocolates were inedible. I hate to leave a negative review, however I had never tasted such stale chocolate. The butter crunch toffee was so stale and hard I could not even bite through it. The orange creams left a really nasty stale taste in my mouth. I didn't try the other stuff I bought I threw it all away. $46 dollars for a medium size box of mixed chocolates and 2 scoops of ice cream although expensive I minimally expected it to be ediable.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to making my Easter candy purchase, I really wanted to like this candy company. I purchased one bunny, jelly beans and two chocolate eggs, one coconut the other peanut butter. The jelly beans were fine since they were Jelly Belly's, however the chocolate was awful. The coconut & peanut butter eggs were brittle on the outside, super sugary and grainy. The taste was awful for both, not creamy & tender, cheap and old/recycled. Definitely not like another candy makers in Connecticut. Sorry I can't recommend this candy maker, maybe their flowers are nice, but not the chocolate.

This hidden gem in town is awesome! The chocolate was amazing! The staff was super friendly even with my kids bouncing around the store!

Customer service was great! Place was nicely put together therefore two stars for both. Otherwise the assortment of chocolates we bought ranged from chocolate cover Oreos, chocolate pb cups, chocolate potato chips, coconut clusters, bark, chocolate pretzels, toffee nuts etc etc Spent about 60$. All tasted old, not real chocolate or peanut butter and left an after taste in your mouth. Very dissatisfied and disappointing. Especially for the price.

My best friend was in charge of helping my expanding family with a gender reveal for our new baby this week. She was able to work with the chocolatiers at Snelgrove's to have these amazing custom gender reveal hot chocolate bombs made for us and they were wonderful! Inside of each hot chocolate bomb was colored marshmallows to let us know the gender of the new baby. It was such a fun way to find out and we were doubly impressed by the flavor of the hot chocolate when the bombs melted into the warmed milk. Delicious! They were able to get this order done in just a few short days, which was fantastic for our admitted impatience; wanting to find out what the new bundle of joy will be! Would absolutely order again.

The owner Tim has no integrity and has been more than happy to take advantage of a local business. We performed $12,000 in work clearing his property of which he has refused to pay even $1. I have full documentation and videos of all work performed at his business in Enfield. I have compiled a growing list of other contractors hired by Tim that he also has refused to pay as a part of an ongoing effort to hold Tim accountable. I would not recommend supporting this business in any capacity.

This chocolate shop is amazing! If you’re in the area check it out! It had some of the best ice cream and chocolate I’ve ever had! This is a great place to get chocolate gifts! Snelgroves is one of the nicest, decorative shops I’ve ever seen! Finally the staff amazing! 5 stars!
