Prices and food is good. People in the back do not know how to follow simple instructions or follow time frame for food orders. When there is no one there mind you. Unfortunately this is not the first time but it'll probably be my last. Ruined my entire after work plans. Went out of my way to support this business and get treated like this is unacceptable

Bad environment… every time I go in I see overworked underpaid staff with long line. Sad to see. I go up front and people say mean things about the workers.. safe to say I won’t be going here anymore.

I got the Pisgah Mountain. Absolutely delicious. Bacon was crispy service was phenomenal speedy and with a smile. I will be coming to Durham Deli whenever I am in the area. Thank you for the awesome sandwich!

Great little variety store that has an actual awesome variety! We stopped for sandwiches during a nearby softball tournament. Sandwiches are made to order, lots of choices, everything we got was good! They use Boars Head deli meat and had several store made salads. The chicken salad with cranberries was delicious! They also had fresh breads, local kielbasa and stuffed breads and like every kind of Utz chip possible.

disappointed :( ordered a chicken cutlet and the chicken has to be a few days old. It was impossible to chew I was really hoping for a freshly made sandwich.

Disappointed, to say the least. I purchased macaroni salad a few weeks ago and the tomatoes tasted like they were starting to go. I figured it was a one off. Got eggs and four potatoes tonight. Two of the four potatoes had rot. The eggs were not good. Not sure if it changed hands but I'm sad. For the price paid for the convenience, I think I'll have to go to another store for my after work dinner makings. ??

This small town market sells Boars Head meats & cold cuts & has a fair sandwich customer base. They could really shine & become the go-to grocery by selling local organic meats, produce & other items like soap from farmers and artisans. We have excellent garlic, chickens, salad greens, vegetables & farm market vendors close by. Grow yourself, Durham Market!
