VERY rude employees, especially the older lady who I believe is the manager! Don’t spend your money here! I was trying on clothes and immediately took them off and walked out after she made many rude comments.

I would never spend another penny and I should’ve never bought the dress, but I loved it. The sales woman was horrible. I have another word for her, but I’m probably not allowed to write it in a review. I would caution anyone from going in there and find another store to buy clothing. They are rude and unprofessional not very helpful or friendly. If I had no clothes, I still would not shop there I’d rather go naked.

What a terrible place to spend my money. I saw several things that I would have purchased were it not for the staff there. I walked in to the store on a Sunday around 3PM. Nobody but me and two employees (older woman behind the counter, younger one in front of the counter chatting w her). No greeting. No “can we help?” I honestly wondered if they even knew I was there. I browsed for about 10-15 minutes, considered trying some things on, while still being ignored. Decided “Meh. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.”Walked out directly past the two still talking at the counter and got nothing. “Thanks for coming” “see ya”. At that point I would have been impressed with a “F*#k you”….at least I would have realized it was a me issue and not them.In a time when we are all dining out with grace for the challenge in restaurant staffing, I look at retail the same way. I don’t know one retail establishment that hasn’t been impacted negatively by Covid, the supply chain, and the increase in online shopping. Seems like it might matter if people are willing to visit your brick and mortar store and spend money. Heck, when I shop online I even get an AI chat robot that says “how can I help”.

I LOVE shopping at Whim!! Not only do they have a great selection of merchandise, but the staff is always warm and inviting, like I’ve stepped into their home. It’s like having my own personal shopper. I have shopped at many other local retailers and always go back to Whim. Keep up the GREAT work....SHOP LOCAL!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Whim Darien. Friendly and helpful. I was blown away by the price points that are so affordable. It’s so hard to find clothing that is attractive, and trendy and not so expensive that you can’t afford more than one piece. So happy to have found this little gem.
