Palmer's Market is a charming supermarket that is a cross between Balducci's and DeCicco & Sons supermarkets. It's also always fun browsing Palmer's aisles and finding obscure but delightful new food products! Palmer's Michelin-quality bakery is far better than Balducci's and DeCicco, which are your standard grocery store bakery with lower quality and extra cheap, sugar-laden baked goods. Palmer's Very Vanilla Buttercream Yellow Cake is so decadent, super moist, and has great aesthetics! Their beautifully golden Blueberry Muffins - Blueberry Explosion- also have double the amount of perfect tart blueberries than other Blueberry Muffins elsewhere. Insanely yum! When it comes to the Holidays, I also use Palmer's impeccable, highly responsive Catering Team, and my Thanksgiving 2023 Dinner was delicious and effortless. For Christmas 2023, their Santa cupcakes with the sugar topping were so indelibly good!

I am a fantatical Palmer's customer -- everytime there's an opportunity for catering, I get excited, because I know I have a jewel to suggest! From their Truffle Dip (now a requested item at every party I host), to their cookies and everything in between, they're just the best and the most delicious! Would absolutely recommend.

I don't write many reviews but I am compelled to share my thoughts on Palmers. Cute, family owned store.. I want to love it but sadly I don't. The worst part it is a simple fix - the cashiers are absolutely horrible!!!They don't train them well. They are can't pack a bag to save their life and they are down right rude to the customers. I had one argue with me about how many items I had and if I should even be in his line. I was the only customer at the registers at the time, I had about 15 items and I looked there was no sign to indicate his line was for under a certain number of items.The number of times I have gone and there are tons of young kids who are 'working' at the cash registers but honestly more interested it chatting back and forth then helping the customers when they arrive. Just sad. Teach these young kids some work ethic.Other points of frustration- food is often out dated, I once picked up something from bakery that turned out to be moldy. We took it back- sure they issued a refund but no apologies.- prices are getting too high

Palmers is amazing. It has the best kitchen in the whole area so their ready made food is 100% delicious. Their staff is very helpful and they have a wonderful inventory plus specialty foods as well. I would strongly recommend it as your "go-to" grocery store.

One of the nicest gourmet food stores Darien has to offer. I shop here whenever I need that “something special” or ingredient not easily found anywhere else - and their catering department is wonderful, making my entertaining so much easier! Thank you, Palmers!!!

I have been going to Palmers since I was a little girl, and now I am in my 50’s. I love the food and the staff. They are so helpful.The food is amazing and they always have new things to try. I know when I buy my food at Palmers it’s always fresh and delicious. It your having an event, you must try there catering menu. I was working on Thanksgiving and I had my food catered and it was the best Thanksgiving meal I ever had.❤️
