Wonderful program and so easy to work with. I have been using Friends of Animals spay/neuter program for 18 years without fail. Can’t thank them enough for providing this program. I recommend them all the time and never have had a complaint. I truly appreciate them, they are a one of a kind!

With vet prices having more than doubled since 2020, it’s difficult for people to afford to spay/neuter their pets. I am grateful to Friends of Animals for their low-cost spay/neuter certificate program, which allowed me to spay my cat. Plus the organization has grown from its beginnings as the most comprehensive low-cost spay neuter program in the country, facilitating close to 3 million spay/neuter procedures to date. It has evolved as well and now places critical habitat, wildlife protection and veganism at the core of animal advocacy. All of that resonates with me. Great organization!!!

I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a very pleasant person. She explained how the program works. I was able to find a vet in my area to help me neuter my male dog. I would recommend this service to anyone who is looking to get an animal spayed or neutered. They get an A+ in my book.

I just purchased a spay certificate for a little dog - a little over $300 from Friends of Animals, I made an appt at a participatng vet in Manhatta and was very satisfied Everything went well. Vets are charging upwards of $1,000, which is far too much. This is a very good deal.

I paid $280 for a certificate and it only covered $69 of the spaying bill.Now the certificate has a 100 deductible but a month ago when I ordered it there was only a 50$ deductible for female dogsI paid more with the certificate then it would be without the certificate. I do not recommend getting the certificate at all.. basically paid $210 for a donation to FOA

edit: they reached out to me because of my original review, explained some things. everything was settled, great service.got a neuter certificate 10yrs ago no problem and have recommended them to countless people over the years. bought a spay certificate last month, still haven't gotten it, no responses to my emails and their voicemail box is full. i'll be disputing my payment after this weekend.

Don’t buy spay/neuter certificate from them. I bough one a month ago turns out I still have to pay almost 500 out of my pocket at the vet which turns out more than 600 for spaying. I bought one for a 115$ a week later their price went up to 160 wow!!! I found a clinic that will do that for 160 everything!!!

I recommend Friends of Animals to everyone I know who have an unneutered or unspayed addition to their family. I have used the program many times with my fur babies. Highy recommend. Thankyou and I thank the Veterinarians who support and participate in the program.
