Clothes are dated and over priced for what they are - you can literally go to TJ Maxx down the street and buy a brand new Vince cashmere sweater for 1/3 less than they are selling for a used one. As a former consignor, they charge a $6 check fee just to write the check even if you choose to pick it up, plus other hidden fees. You have to really look at your statements, and I've had incorrect items returned to me. Other places don't charge fees if you leave payments on a account to put towards purchases, but not here. Owner is always there and is cold and unfriendly. There are better places in the area to give your business to and look for a treasure!

Double exposure has new stuff coming in everyday!! Lot of clothes brand new with tags, and a beautiful selection of designer clothes/bags. The prices are really great too.

Owner refuses returning customers without warning and will not provide a legitimate reason for the rash decision... not quite sure that's legal but she seems to think so...

Double Exposure is one of the best consignment boutiques in the entire NYC Metropolitan area. I've been shopping and consigning there for at least a decade and everyone who works there is so friendly, the selection is a wonderful range from more affordable all the way up to luxury designer brands. I always find something that brightens my day, their products are such high-quality that I've had many of them for years. I love shopping at DE because I'm supporting an incredible local business, the people who work there and creating less fashion waste for the planet. I can not recommend them enough if you're a local, or if you're visiting from out of town.

A great consignment shop that always seems to have great finds at every season. Very nice helpful people who work there and I love the periodic sales which always makes the finds so much greater! Recommend it to all my friends.

When I moved out from New York City 23 years ago, I was initially missing New Yor City sophistication and an urban sensibility. I stumbled on Double Exposure and I instantly felt at home. The staff was so welcoming and friendly and the quality of all the clothes, shoes, purses, accessories and jewelry was first-class and in impeccable condition. And it has maintained that excellence in product ever since. And now, with the new store location, it is a soothing experience to shop and this is from someone who hates shopping! This is my Go-To store for every gift I've ever bought for the past 2 decades. There are always so many unique and intriguing items to try on and consider. The Proprietor, Mern Palmer-Smith, has created a loving community space where we all feel we belong. The store location is excellent and the parking is plentiful. Get off the generic On-Line Shopping and go and visit Double Exposure for a welcomed in-person shopping experience. I always feel like it's similar to going to an art gallery. I've dropped a couple gently used designer shoes (Manolo Blahnik and Sport Max) to consign. Later to find out they DONATED my beautiful shoes 2 months later without my knowledge. I'm extremely disappointed! Will avoid this place and advice not to use them if they're not going to properly communicate with customers.

Was in the area with a friend. Stopped here to check it out. We weren't greeted by staff. They where to busy chatting amongst themselves. They didn't ask if we needed help. Owner looked miserable. We walked out. I would never reccomend this place.

I absolutely love Double Exposure! After happening upon this store a few years ago and seeing their incredible selection of designer clothing, shoes and accessories at unbelievable prices, I vowed to never shop retail again! It seemed ridiculous to pay full prices when I could come in to DE and find beautiful pieces that I would most likely not see anyone else wearing and not spend a fortune. The staff is super helpful and friendly which always makes shopping that much more pleasant and easy. Whenever I need an outfit for a specific event and am stressing out over it, I just ask one of the ladies in the front to help me. I describe what I'm looking for and what the event is, and they gladly help me pick out several items to try on. By the end of it, I always come out with the perfect outfit. If you are looking for a different kind of shopping experience where you can get high quality designer items at not-so-designer prices, I definitely recommend going to Double Exposure. I promise you that your closet and wallet will thank you!!!

By far one of the best consignment store I have ever been to! The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. They have a wide selection of merchandise and I have found some really great pieces, brand new with tags still on! I highly recommend checking this place out!
