A must stop independent toy store for any fan of Lego. Their inventory of Lego is fantastic and the staff is highly knowledgeable of all things Lego. The owner and I chatted for a good 20 minutes when we stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon driving through and was such a fan of Lego that it was so great.

This is the worse toy store with horrible customer service. Do no be fooled by apperances. A good friend gave me a gift and when I went to return it the Owner would not accept it because it was past 7 days !I explained I was from out of town and drove all the way down here to turn it. He said he would then he realizes the receipt was taped to the box and said he couldn't accept it. If you are mom and this is your last straw this man was not understanding all we walked out for the store and will never return

The worst toy shop. The staff was not friendly. I purchased two separate toys and they refused to give me two separate paper bags. What a silly way to lose customers this way and to receive a bad review.

I really like the toy selection- appreciate that they have European brands. Unfortunately, the customer service is zero. The owner (? older gentleman) didnt acknowledge us the entire time we were there, didnt ask if we needed any help and attempted to take a toy from my child's hands that he was holding.I wont be visiting again or purchasing from this store.

The LEGO selection here is impeccable. Well above Target for the area and easily competes w LEGO stores without any price increases. They also have a stellar selection of all other sorts of toys for all ages. The staff are great and very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend shopping here, especially for LEGO needs as I've found Ninjago City Gardens, The Haunted House and they have the very exclusive Millenium Falcon. Definitely a little bit of LEGO hobbyists and it shows!

We called Bill frantically looking for a PlayForever Malibu Racing Car in Red to have in time for Christmas. While he initially didn’t have it in stock, he went above and beyond to get more. He called to make sure I knew what exact time they would arrive, that he put one aside for us and to see if we wanted it gift wrapped. This is one of the reason we drive from Fairfield to shop here. If you haven’t check it out - you are missing out!

Very poor customer service. I purchased 3 toys and asked for a separate small paper bag for each toy since the gifts are going to 3 different kids. The gentleman refused to give me 3 small paper bags. At the same time, they were wrapping the gifts using tons of paper for other customers. Very inefficient and no desire to visit the store again.

Such an incredibly beautiful store with toys you won’t find anywhere else. They were so knowledgeable on the toys and which would be most age appropriate for my kids ages. It made toy shopping enjoyable rather than overwhelming. Can’t wait to go back.

I placed a frantic call to Darien Toy Box yesterday...I was on my way to a 4 year old's birthday party that I had completely forgotten about. I asked the salesperson if he was able to pick out a toy (in a particular price range) appropriate for a 4 year old girl, take my credit card info over the phone, and wrap it so that I could run in and grab it and be on my way to the party. He described three different toys to me, helped me select one, and had it all paid for and ready to go by the time I arrived...all of TEN minutes later. The customer service was impeccable. Do yourself a favor and do your toy shopping at Darien Toy Box!

Worst customer service, lady asking where am I from? What kind of store saying don't touch just look. Better close the place. Besides store so small you guys should monitor the entrance of people.
