I have been a satisfied, long-term, frequent-flyer client of Dirk and the crew at Darien Detail. They typically install for me full body and windshield PPF with wheels-off ceramic coating, window tint, and the occasional minor paint repair.
Dirk has a full line-up of trusted subs, including wheel refinishing, PDR, radar detector installation and tire installation, all of which I’ve taken advantage of, enabling him to provide the convenience of a one-stop shop.
Dirk provides a high-level attention to detail on his PPF installs, starting with deionized water (you should see the huge tanks of media in the basement), lint removal from installer clothing (don’t want dust to get between film and paint), and employing custom cut film where appropriate (e.g., removal of headlights on 911 to allow custom cut film to wrap inside of cavity, protecting what would otherwise be the exposed leading edge around headlight that is most prone to chips). Custom cut film is used to extend around edges that pre-cut film leaves exposed, with an end result that is more aesthetically pleasing and provides better protection. Knife cuts are made to the extended portion, reducing risk of paint damage from install.
Dirk specializes in the full range of Porsche models and so no matter how rare or special your Porsche may be, the odds are very high that he has already had one in the shop. That said, he works on all makes and models.

These days it is difficult to find a company, or service, that will do the requested job to perfection the first time. With Darien Detail, you have come to the right place. The workers in the meticulously clean garage do just that. If it is not done correctly, it does not go out to the customer. Dirk, with assistance from Calum, run the operation like a well oiled machine, providing total customer service – all within a reasonable timeframe.
If giving 10 stars were allowed, Darien Detail would be the perfect benefactor.

Darien Detail is top notch for any exterior needs your car may need! The level of professionalism, quality, and care they take in the vehicles they service is unmatched! Came in with a unique request for my Tesla and they took care of me right away without hesitation! Calum was awesome and extremely kind and the other managers were friendly and great to be around. Their shop is immaculate. I will for sure be back in the future.

Calum and the Darien Detail crew did a fantastic job on my 2024 Porsche Macan. I was particularly pleased that Calum worked me into their busy schedule ASAP since the car was new and I wanted PPF and Ceramic coating. After the allotted time I used their recommended CarPro products for maintenance which yielded great results as well. I highly recommend using Darien Detail for your detailing needs.

Update 7/11/24 I got a small chip and my windshield so I went back to Darien Detail to get PPF put on my windshield. They did such a good job you can not even tell the protection is on the windshield.
All the 5 star reviews are true. I worked with Dirk, he was very patient explaining everything and very knowledgeable of the products he offers. I will definitely be using him again for all my new cars.

I took my 911 in for an additional coating of PPF after DD was recommended and my experience could not have been better! The facility is high end and it is clear the staff love cars and only want to help you out. Calum is fabulous to work with and Dirk knows his business! They go above and beyond and have great attention to detail. I had my original coating of PPF done at the dealership and it is clear DD would have done a better job. I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else for the services they provide!

My experience with Darien Detail was top notch from my first phone call to them to receiving my car. I was very happy in every way. The Detail part of their name can not be emphasized enough. I had just gotten my 911 and it was cleaner when they were done with it then when my dealership gave it to me. The shop is incredible and looks more like a surgical suite than a shop where cars are. Back again - I had my RR Sport SV wrapped in matte PPF by Darien Detail this week, and the results are outstanding! Jason is a master craftsman. The finish looks sleek and sophisticated, and the quality of the work is top-notch. Jason was professional, efficient, and paid great attention to detail. Calum kept me updated on progress throughout the project with regular pictures and the work was completed to schedule. Highly recommend their services for anyone looking to protect and enhance their vehicle!
Having made the mistake of using other tinting, PPF and detail services in the area, I am so glad I found Darien Detail. These guys are by far THE BEST in terms of product knowledge, service, attention to detail and completing the work on time. They also know every inch of every car you care to mention. My SVR is tinted and protected.
