Zaytuna is an excellent destination for high-quality halal meat. The staff consistently provide exceptional service, always friendly and helpful, making every visit a pleasure. Plus, they even sweeten the experience by offering candies to kids. I go out of my way to patronize this establishment for their fresh meat selection. However, one minor suggestion would be for them to update their location on Google, as it can be confusing for new customers to find

If you're looking for fresh halal meat, look no further. The store is clean. The people are friendly and courteous. There are also a wide variety of products that you will not find anywhere else.

This is a one stop shop for all your Desi grocery needs. Friendly service by owner, Zaid. Halal options as well!

I walked in and, seeing that I didn’t know some of the things I was looking at, the employee explained things to me and helped me with my selection. The most friendly establishment in the area. 10 stars!

I stopped in yesterday being a vegan and a certified health coach wanting to patronize a new establishment in Danbury. Who ever the elderly gentleman was I didn't appreciate that he followed me around the store as I was trying to read the labels etc I found it very disturbing and disrespectful. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Ordered for delivery, which was on time. Saag paneer and garlic naan were tasty. My only complaint was that I did request utensils but they weren't included. Since I was in a hotel, it was a challenge. Thank goodness I had ordered naan!

Delicious Indian Food with extremely generous portions. We often have take out. We enjoy the vegetarian food . Rice and Bread compliment the meals. If you eat in, enjoy the Marsala tea. If you take out, there is a grocery store with some frozen options for future meals.

So I have decided to order chicken tikka before going to Jum3a prayer across the street ( mind you, I am not from around here and was so happy to find a halal place as I only eat halal). Took the food and wanted to take a taste. The chicken was horrible, tasted bad, looked old, and smelled unclean so I tried the second piece and had the same issue. The color of the meat on the inside was dark brown. So I left the other two pieces untouched. I called the resturant and asked them if they can make something fresh, server told me I will have to pay for the food again. I asked if I can return the food and get my money back, he said yes. I went back, the chief/ owner ( mashallah a nicely bearded old man) claimed that the chicken is fresh and I am the problem and refused to refund the money and said " this is America" ( mind you again, I am United States Army Sergeant" with a huge anger issue). I asked him to show me the marinated chicken, and I would proof to him that it is OLD he obviously refused and walked across the street to Friday prayer. I called the cops because I felt that I would end up doing something stupid for $20.00. So, I went to pray and then got vegetarian tacos. Now, if you want to go eat there by all means go ahead but this place should not be anywhere near a mosque or even on the map.

Fantastic Indian food!! I could eat the garlic naan every day. Regular naan was great to dip. Chicken Tikka was absolutely delish, I had the mild, husband had the spicy. He says it was very spicy but still amazing. Vegetable pakora was sooo good as well. Love the sauces with the pakora. Got takeout and everything was still hot and fresh when we got home. Can't wait to return!

First time visit and so far in first 5 mins I like it! They have grocery store next store so you can have groceries and lunch/dinner. Also, for religious folks there's masjid across the street. So, all in all very good location to get several things done while you are here. They have buffet setup but were not serving buffet on Monday afternoon. Later found out that it used to be only on Sundays and post COVID they have stopped serving buffet. We sat down ordered food. Took about 10 mins to get apps chicken lollipop and aloo tiki. Then got garlic naan, chicken jalfreezi and mutton karahi. It was good food but not something I would remember and will crave to come back. Had a great time overall with courteous staff.

Ordered from Zaytuna recently after a few years. I've never had a bad experience but I needed a reminder of how delicious the dishes were! I called it in for a pickup. Great service and even better food. All of the go-to Indian dishes I would typically order are super flavorful here and the portions are very filling. For having somewhat limited options of this cuisine in Danbury, I'm happy to be located so close to Zaytuna. I'll definitely be keeping this place in my takeout rotation and trying more dishes.
