Choice Pet - Danbury
67 Newtown Rd, DanburyMy husband and I have an Irish Wolfhound and he eats very specific food. Uses very specific tick and flea control products and just requires bigger toys and such. This place is the place to go. I have yet to find a store with our dogs food other than choice pet. Everything is also competitively priced. They are amazing! Friendly staff, clean environment. I walked over to look at the pets they do have for sale and all look clean, and well taken care of! We look forward to purchasing from them for the foreseeable future!

VCA Northside Animal Hospital
21 Padanaram Rd, DanburyDr. Ravich and the vet tech, Jeff, were both terrific. There was a very caring and professional atmosphere, and both my husband and I felt very respected and comfortable. They addressed all our concerns, and the follow-up was wonderful. We use VCA Vets when we are out in Utah for 3 months, and the level of care in both locations is outstanding. I would highly recommend VCA Northside

Molly Darcy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant
39 A Mill Plain Rd, DanburyIf you’re in Danbury and haven’t been to Molly Darcy’s yet, what are you even doing? I’ve been here more times than I care to admit (okay, a lot), and it’s one of those rare places that gets everything right—especially Guinness.
Now, let me tell you about Allen, the bartender. This man doesn’t just pour Guinness; he summons it. Watching him work is like witnessing an artist at the peak of their craft. The man knows the sacred rules of the Guinness pour: the angle, the pause, the perfect head. It’s a spiritual experience. If they ever decide to make “The Proper Guinness Pour” an Olympic event, Allen is bringing home gold.
But Molly Darcy’s isn’t just about the drinks. If you happen to swing by on a Saturday night, you’re in for a treat—cougar night. Yes, you heard that right. It’s worth the visit just for the people-watching alone. Trust me, the energy is electric, and you never know who might strike up a conversation (or more). Let’s just say, you’ll hear plenty of purring…meow!
The vibe here is warm and welcoming, the food’s fantastic, and the banter at the bar is always top-notch. But let’s be real: I keep coming back for that perfect pint of Guinness, Allen’s unflappable dedication to the craft, and maybe a little Saturday night excitement.
Molly Darcy’s isn’t just a pub; it’s an experience. If you’re in Danbury, you owe it to yourself to stop by. Just don’t tell Allen I said nice things—he’ll get a big head, and we need that to stay on the pint.
Hope this has you grinning as much as Allen’s Guinness pours!
