Dr Lagana is very caring, very conserved about the animals- she treats our dogs extremely well and professionally. She also answers questions and concerns on the phone-

The office and techs are super responsive with emails and phone calls, and are just such nice people! We have been going here for years. One of my dogs who is terrified of going to the vet, seems to be doing so much better and walks right inside with the techs when they come out to get him. Also, Dr. Sobel is the BEST vet we've ever dealt with. She genuinely cares about our dogs, takes her time to explain things to us and the best way to approach different situations, and is just an overall kind person. I highly recommend them for all of your pet needs.

Noah's Ark animal hospital saved me when I was in a pinch. Our puppy was sick the day we received her and brought her home. I needed a good vet in a near emergency situation. Noah's ark was there for me. We caught the pneumonia early. If we didn't it could've quickly escalated into a life-threatening situation. My puppy has gone on to have all her care at Noah's Ark since. The vets have been very responsive by phone, by text and in person. Now I have a beautiful healthy strong growing puppy! Thank you Noah's Ark

My dog went in for an ear infection and was returned to me unresponsive and not able to walk. The staff was mostly unhelpful and denied accountability with the exception of one young man, Brett. Noah's ark ultimately has refused to take responsibility and also refused to treat my dog further. This is THE SECOND TIME they did this to my dog. Last year when we boarded the dog with them for a short stay, my dog was healthy and active when he went in. They returned him to us with a potentially fatal fever, unresponsive, unable to walk and on the brink of death. For an additional $1000, they blamed vaccinations. This place is not only unprofessional, they are a danger to your pet. We will be reporting them to the Humane Society. Please don't bring your pet here. He/she will suffer and this practice will deny responsibility.

I brought my dog there yesterday for a 430 appointment to have his infected ear looked at. We waited in the parking lot for 20 minutes past our appointment time before a young man came to rake him inside. When the doctor called me she stated they wanted to take a culture of his ear but she also mentioned he had a hard time with the linoleum floors but they brought ins lad and he was fine. When they returned my dog to me he can't walk or even stand ! He is 13 years old and walked into their building fine , 30 minutes later he can't walk , stand or put any weight on his back legs ! They've refused to even have someone call me back to discuss what happened and how they are going to take care of it . This place is ABSOLUTELY the WORST kind of practice and people working there. I was told they are corporate owned and the manager would be back on Monday ! My dog can't walk , it's your fault , manager back I monday ???!!! Going to file a police report today

This review is about 8 months too late but I felt it was important to say since there are vets offices who actually care about the well being of your dog over your wallet. I went here when my dog was a puppy, expecting to get first round of shots but found out she was sick so they wanted to wait 1 week before starting vaccinations. I was told I was getting a free appt since they did nothing I was supposed to the first time. Next week comes, they do the shots and they charged me 30.00 after I was told it was free because they checked her ears which I was never aware of. On top of that just trying to have a conversation w the nurse is difficult, she basically berated me for not strapping in my 8 week old puppy who was terrified of cars for at least 2 months. I just wanted advice. Lastly, after deciding to go back to my hometown vet I called them, the receptionist, who was generally nice in person literally hung up on me when I told them I'd like to switch vets. Didn't even ask why just hung up. I called back, extremely pissed at this point to which she rudely replied it would be harder to email my documents for 3 vet appts from them than faxing, which my new vet didn't take. They needed it immediately for me to get in for treatment. The receptionist said okay, I called my new vet 4 hours later before they closed, they never got the documents. It took 3 days, 2 more angry phone calls from me and THEY STILL REFUSED TO TRANSFER MY INFO. my new vet had to personally call them. Most unprofessional business I've ever been too. Doctors are sweet, but the business and staff will reap your pockets.

So I'll start by saying I've been going here consistently for the past 3 months with my puppy. I've easily spent anywhere from $800-$1,000 in the past 3 months in vet consultations and vaccines. Yesterday my puppy went in for a lepto booster shot along with the Lyme booster shot. Not more then 5 mins from when we had left the office the puppy broke out in what seems like hives. His eyes got swollen, around his mouth was inflamed and his entire fur was spiked up like rashes all over. I bought him back to the vet they gave him Benadryl, fluids to flush his system and a steroid to help with the inflammation. The dog clearly had an allergic reaction I was freaking out crying bc I felt so bad for him. The two shots earlier were roughly $92 and were administered by the tech. They told me for the tech to give the shots would be free I would just have to pay for the vaccines which was fine. I didn't want him to see the vet bc I would be charged with a vet consultation and I knew it wasn't needed plus I was already tight on money as is. Then I bring him back with this reaction to get hit with a $175 bill. I was so upset to say the least. They charged me for the fluids, Benadryl, a steroid and a "brief examination fee" that was $40 or so. I asked the receptionist if anything can be done with the bill as I was already short on money that's why I told them I didn't want to see the vet earlier when I was there. She told me she would speak with Dr. Sobel then she comes out and says, "no this is the price we're just thankful you came here and not an emergency animal hospital for the charges there would've been so much more expensive." Are you kidding me! Why would I bring him to the ER when clearly he got this reaction from something that was administered here. It's obvious I would bring him here and not the ER where they would definitely charge me an arm and a leg. What gets me so upset is they couldn't do anything with the bill like was it really necessary to charge me for the brief exam ?! I've been coming here consistently despite knowing their vaccines are a little overcharged and I know that bc I've called around and other places the vaccines are a little cheaper. However I bought him here out of loyalty to them and bc I had already started taking my puppy there for his vaccines and said this is closer to my house let me just keep bringing him there. He is supposed to go back in two weeks for his booster flu shot. Apparently there's two strains in one shot needless to say I'm not going back here. I'll be taken both my dogs my puppy and my border collie to my old vet even if I have to drive from Danbury to Carmel. I was even told by my old vet why does your puppy need a flu shot is he going to be around sick dogs or in a kennel for a few days. I said no. This place only cares about the money and not the rapport they build with their customers. I wasn't expecting to pay $267 dollars one day at the vet. I've been going there consistently for all his exams and vaccines for them to not help me at all I find unacceptable and clearly they don't value their customers. They should give knowledge to their customers about what vaccines are needed and what are OPTIONAL then it should be the owners discretion what they want to administer to their pets. I'm so upset about this and needless to say I'm NEVER going back!

Most of my experiences were fine until my dog was sick, although never really new what doctor I was going to get-- there have been so many. When I took my very sick dog in on a Thursday, they recommended blood tests. The cost for the appt and bloodwork was over $400. Ouch. But it had to be done so I figured out a way to pay for that expense. The following day, I waited all morning for them to call with results while my dog was quite ill at home. Around noon I couldn't wait any longer. I called and was told "the results are on the doctors desk, but they don't make calls until the afternoon". Unbelievable considering my dog was in critical condition and time was of the essence!! I threw a fit and the doctor called back within the hour. The results were not good, and they couldn't tell me what to do next unless we did a $500 imaging exam. I decided to take her to a 24 hour emergency hospital in Norwalk instead where I was greeted with warmth and concern as I opened the door to enter. This hospital did a thorough exam, and an informal ultrasound at no charge. They were kind enough to give me the the difficult news that there was little hope for her at her advanced age. Saturday morning she passed and later that afternoon Noah's Ark finally made their procedural follow up call to inquire about her well being-- two days too late.

Saw the family of the dog who was killed here outside of the facility last week I believe and even just seeing it traumatized me and I've not been able to get their story out of my head since. Scary how negligent and lazy people can be when it's not their loved ones on the table. My condolences during this horrific time.

The worst experience I have ever had with a "Vet". They charged me double what i was told, they mis-diagnosed my dog, and were extremely RUDE. If you are looking for the WORST vet in the Danbury area you have found them!

Our beautiful healthy dog was brought here for a dental cleaning. Someone turned the anesthesia up to double what it should be. Our dog died and had to be given chest compressions. We were not called. It happened at 2 and we were told at 4 to pick him up at 5. I waited 40 minutes in the waiting room. Was told I had to bring my dog to be "monitored" at a hospital. There was no monitoring. Hospital told us he had a stroke, had brain damage and one lung was collapsed. He passed away. Our beautiful baby did not deserve to die in such a horrible way. We hope our boy dying saves someone else. We love you Zach.

What a great staff and great hospital. My wife and I take all of our animals to Noah's. A while back our cat had a bump on the back of his ear and it turned out to be Cancer and Joanna and doctor Pia caught it and the surgery wash a success! Last month our same cat was loosing weight and we brought him down. They were so wonderful at the front desk I can't even tell you as phones were ringing and people were coming in they handled everyone their with care and love. As the care and tests which my wife and I felt were needed as Dr. Pia advised us for our cat ended up having pancreatitis and within a couple weeks he is back to himself just wanted to write how happy my wife and I are for the people at Noah's. Thank you!
