  By Gum, I came here to do an emissions test, passed it, and, then, received a mail notification, saying that I needed a new test. So, naturally, I go, back, in and see the owner guy, and, he tells me that I had actually, 'failed' it, and that he had told me all this, previously, during my last visit, where I had passed my last test. Imagine my surprise, upon hearing this, but this state is about as transparent and law-abiding, as a BP-gulf-coast oil spill! ... In any event, as the owner was very, 'busy', the owner guy told me to come see him, in a week-and-a-half, for some repairs and another(!) test. Don't that just beat off? I am very dissatisfied, with the service I received, here, and I would not recommend this place, to anyone, who is seriously interested in automotive repairs and or emissions testing. Con-netticut, indeed... Yuck

  My daughter was getting gas and her car died at the pump. The insurance company called Federal to tow it to our local garage. They showed up, tried unsuccessfully to jump the car (we had already tried to jump the car and did not think that was the problem), and then refused to tow the car, claiming to be "too busy," leaving my daughter in the lurch. Unprofessional and completely unacceptable!

  I waited over 4 hours to be towed. Multiple times they told me they'd pick me up soon or in the next 45-60 minutes. They kept saying they were dealing with an ice tow. Maybe send someone else? I walked 4 miles in the ice, snow, mud, and rain to get to the shop and got there half an hour before my car did. There's absolutely no reason anyone should have to wait that long for a tow, let alone be constantly told you'll be towed soon when it's not true.

  HUGE shout out to Federal! They are coming to get my car for service, do the work, disinfect my car, and then will bring it back to me! I'm blown away! Great service especially with the COVID-19 pandemic! Thanks for looking out for your customers guys!!
