This whole experience has been comical to say the least. My husband set this move up and I really wish I'd have read the reviews here because we're dealing with similar issues that most others have already described as well. I will say, the workers that came to our house and packed us were very nice and professional. That's the end of my positive review. We paid around 11-12k for a move from Michigan to NC. They showed up with a truck on our packing day that already had someone else's stuff on it and as a result, they couldn't fit all of our belongings on one truck. I'll get back to that later. Otherwise packing and loading went relatively smoothly. We've moved in to our home in NC and they've somehow managed to lose the box that has all of our bedframe hardware somewhere along the line. We're a prior military family, we've moved more times that I can count. I've never once heard of a moving company putting all of the hardware in a box. We've always seen it wrapped to the furniture somehow/put in a drawer (probably so something like this doesn't happen). So here we are, in our new home, with mattresses on the floor since we can't assemble our beds. Not a huge deal I guess, aside from the baby that doesn't have a crib to sleep in. We left multiple messages on Thursday Dec 30 (I get that it's a holiday weekend) but still haven't heard back. They also broke several pieces of furniture (missing pegs, wheels ripped off etc). Back to the our stuff not fitting on one truck, it's been over two months since our packing day and it's still in Michigan. Which apparently is a pretty common theme for them. They said it's due to it being a small load (well it wouldn't have been a small load if you would have arrived with an empty truck to pack our four bedroom house). Who knows when we'll ever see that stuff again. We also have acquired several items that are not ours along the way, so if you're missing a green large igloo cooler or a yellow toolbox, we've got it in NC ?♀️ Who knows, maybe you have our furniture hardware and we can arrange a swap?

Very pleased with Morse Moving. The guys were professional and efficient, and the cost was competitive. Would use them again.

They didn’t pack half my kitchen. Left loads of things in the back yard that were requested to be packed. So much of my stuff was missing or broken when I finally received it. The icing on the cake was the half eaten lunch one of the workers decided to wrap in paper and tape shut then shove into a box to mold. I mean who doesn’t love someone’s half eaten food in the middle of a health pandemic.

If you are Moving stay far away from this Moving company. They are racist and will lie in order to not pay your claim. They will make up lies based on your color and then add more lies. Watch out if you do for the Claims manager Stacy DeMoyer. She is liar and snake who hides behind a computer to play on the weak along with using emotions rather than facts to be fair with a claim. They broke several items during a move and overcharged after.

They moved us after living in our house for 25 years. After the move, I had several necklaces stolen, a damaged gutter, a damaged gun safe, and several dishes broken. While they agreed to pay for the gutter, the repairs have been completed and the bill has still not been paid by Morse/Allied. The gun safe was only reimbursed at half the cost to repair due to limited liability. Broken dishes were not replaced since it was "our fault" for not checking all the boxes (over 5

Would NOT recommend if you have antiques. This company does not know how to handle antiques. I have a grandmother clock that has been in the family for at least 4 generations that suffered a great deal of damage in the move. It should have been crated before moved, but this was not suggested to us despite having someone come to our house for an estimate. When I filed a claim, despite paying for upgraded insurance, I was told the insurance “does not cover old broken things.†A local clock-smith in my new location even told the claims lady the damage was from the move, as he has seen it many times. Very disappointed with the customer service after the move. Will never use this company again.

Every step of the way, from the initial request for information to installing us into our new home, was professional and pleasant! Every point of contact gave me the information I needed. Our packing and moving team was fast, polite and hardworking. Not one thing got broken! Best move ever. Hire them now!
