We started going here in 2020, and initially had a good experience with both our dogs. This year has been a disaster though. When I brought in my dogs for their vaccinations, they completely missed the date of one of my dogs rabies vaccination and he ended up being unvaccinated for months. When I called them about this, the person who answered the phone didn't apologize and was very flippant about it. I had to advocate for an apology, and it was only at that point that they offered to comp the cost of the appointment. Then this month, one of my dog's was sick, and I had to wait three days for an appointment b/c they had only had one vet on staff. We finally got bloodwork done and I was told we'd hear back from the doctor the next day. I called at 4pm the next day as I hadn't heard anything (mind you, my dog still is sick), and they weren't able to tell me anything. I then had to call back again at 11am the following day, and a diagnosis of diabetes was delivered over the phone by a receptionist - with no empathy, no explanation, no walking me through a care plan, or what to expect, etc. They then told me I had to go to ANOTHER vet down the road to learn how to administer insulin. It was horrendous, and to this day, no one has called to follow up to see how he's even doing or what the status is. All that to say, we're now happy customers down the road at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital. They are kind, professional, knowledgeable, caring, and generous. I recommend them as an alternative to this place.

This place is DISGUSTING!! I moved to CT so a new patient, they gave me the YOUNGEST INEXPERIENCED VET, Edwards, who has no idea what she is doing. REFUSED TO REFILL HIS PRESCRIPTION THAT HE NEEDS TO LIVE!! WITHOUT GIVING ME NOTICE? SO MY DOG WILL NOW SUFFER BECAUSE OF THEM. THE OFFICE MANAGER, A NON DOCTOR, MADE THE DECISION. DIDNT LIKE ME CRYING, TOLD ME I SPOKE POORLY? BECAUSE I AM UPSET? TELLS ME THEY WILL SEND ME MY FILE VIA EMAIL???? WHEN HE CANT LIVE WITHOUT THE MEDS??? I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH WHOMEVER CONTROLS ANIMAL HOSPITALS. INEXCUSABLE DO NOT GO HERE, THEY ARE DISGUSTING!! IF MY DOG DIES I WILL BE SUING THEM! I WILL POST VIDEOS OF HIM CHOKING WITHOUT MEDS EVERY DAY IF HE SURVIVES UNTIL I FIND A QUALIFIED VET.

I was recommended Mill Plain Vet from a friend after I was unhappy at a previous vet office. They are wonderful. Between well visits, repairing my dogs ACL and helping him transition when he got cancer they were always there. I am grateful to all of the Dr's and staff who cared for him. Lovely people.

I brought my elderly dog here 2 months ago. Asked them to do everything needed as it is difficult to transport him. Well 2 months later I want to board him and the boarding center says he's missing a shot and is way over due for fecal. The vet should inform me of this, not the kennel. Anyway I call to make appt. they tell me no appt for shots just call and someone will come outside. Sounds easy right?? It's been an hour, I'm still in parking lot waiting

This past Friday 6/25/21 I brought my dog Finley to Mill Plain Vet because he was in need of emergency care. Dr. Steinmetz and the whole team were caring and took immediate action. Over the weekend Kayla kept me informed on my Finley’s condition. Because of their knowledge and immediate action they were able to save my baby’s life. There aren’t words to verbalize how much I appreciate what they did to save my Finley!

I can't say enough great things about Mill Plain Vet... they are compassionate, accommodating and do whatever they can to make you and your pet feel safe and comfortable. My pup was not feeling well, and they were booked up... but they made it a point to squeeze him into the schedule. We have had to make the difficult decision to end two of our dogs suffering, and they made the whole experience as comfortable as it could possibly be. We are so grateful for all that they do!

We started at another clinic for YEARS until they misdiagnosed my dog ... and cat. Decided to transfer our pets to Mill Plain and it was the best decision. Started with Dr. Baruffo and she was so knowledgeable and helped me understand my pets conditions. After Ellie and Dusty passed we now see Dr. Rea and recently Dr Romano and both were awesome. Highly highly recommend. They don’t get annoyed with the same 20 questions but instead sit and listen and help any way they can. Even though I work at an ER animal hospital myself - I will always come here and trust their opinions.

We recently brought our older dog to see Dr, Rea. Her spot on diagnosis and treatment literally saved his life. We highly recommend Mill Plain Vet and are profoundly grateful for their expertise.

The staff and the vets are all very knowledgeable, caring and gentle. I highly recommend the vets at this Clinic. I've never had to wait that long, maybe unless it's a weekend appointment, but it to be expected. To me Mill Plain Vet is not expensive, the previous vet my cats went to was expensive. My cats are not stressed when they leave Mill Plain Clinic, they leave loved and happy. Thank you for all you've done. I also recommend for Pet Insurance Trupanion.

Came here for a second opinion after our dog ruptured her ACL. Our vet, who we absolutely love, sources out for orthopedics. Dr Toso assured us Dr Shelly would be doing our surgery and was done with in a week. They gave us a great experience and kept our pup comfortable. If your dog need some orthopedic surgery, this is the place you should go to.
