ZERO STARS! Don't shop here. Went to freshen up my husbands wardrobe. Picked out a few items and came across North Face Wanderer Polo. The one I grabbed had a price tag that was coming off. I thought it was just from another item that got stuck to it. The sticker said $120 but since it was partially not attached, I could see the suggested retail price was $55. Truly thought it was an error and just grabbed another shirt. But it had the same sticker over the suggested retail price for $120! Went to a cashier, thinking it was just mismarked and it rang as $120! Cashier offered no explanation or help as to why the item was scanning for more than double the price. Macys website offers.the shirt for $55. So does Amazon. I'll just buy it from Amazon. No surprise why some stores can't seem to stay open. I left empty handed and disgusted.

Macy's towels are a disaster. They ripped so soon after buying. This is a review for Macy's itself, not the Danbury location which is actually quite nice. So sick of cheap products the past 5 or 6 years especially. They don't use good materials anymore. But no one does.

This is a beautiful clean Macy's store at the Danbury Fair mall. Service is good. It's important that stores are clean and look organized. Good store. Because this store part of the mall there's a lot of free parking.

The manager for Ralph Lauren a black lady laughed in my face and said it's you again first of all you don't talk to a customer that way the clothes are defective and being made like outlet quality. It was embarrassing because there was another customer next to me she needs to be fired.

Came here because I needed to return a duplicate gift from our wedding registry. The return was quick and easy on a Macy's gift card. We went to housewares to see if we could spend some of that gift card but they didn't have the stuff we wanted in stock so we had to order it online. There was also nobody in the housewares department and I felt bad for the one guy in that half of the store because he couldn't leave his register to help anyone. On the main floor they had more people and the sales team there was nice, I think they just might have been short staffed upstairs.

Macy's has definitely come a long way! There dresses and clothes are so much better then what they were. From formal wear to casual you can find anything you are looking for there!

Purchased a sweater at Macy's in Danbury today.. Salesgirl did not ask if I would like to donate to a charity. It was for Black girls & UNCF?? ..The bill rounded out to the nearest dollar..Not realizing this, I swiped my card..When I looked at my receipt, I questioned it & she said she could not take the charge off my bill.. It is the principle. A customer before me had the same problem.. Not good practice if the customer was not aware!

I recently placed an order online on Nov 8, 2020; to be picked up from the store in Danbury CT. Each time I checked on delivery status; it constantly said in transit. On Nov 23 I decided to call Macy's, I was told my order was being sent back to California. I asked why, I was told the shipping label to the store fell off; so they had to send back to Macy's in California. How could a shipping label just fall off. The merchandise I bought were all on sale. I don't believe Macy's had the items at all in any of their stores. I am sorry I wouldn't recommend this store for pickup of online shopping.

Very rude and unprofessional. Watch the calendar if you buy a dress on final sale( blue tag). You have up to 30 days to return it and not a minute longer. After that time you may listen to all stories of women wearing the dresses for over 30 days and then returning or other nasty unprofessional accusations. One of the tags was not coming up and I was told that I either did not pay for it or I purchased it in another store. I went back home and printed out the proof. Went back

Worst shopping experience ever. We bought a dish-drying rack today from the housewares section which was unkempt and completely devoid of sales staff. The rack was on the clearance sale rack but when I checked out it rang up at full price. Needing a new rack, I bought it anyway. When we got home and opened the box, the rack was out of its original wrapping and had been clearly used...replete with dried water stains on the rack base. We then called to let the store know about this, and after being on hold for 30 minutes and speaking to one person who didn't know how to connect to the housewares department, were disconnected. I then called Macy's 1-800 number to complain and was offered a $10 gift certificate as an apology, even though the rack was $40. I asked for $20, thinking that was fair for a clearly used item but was told $15 was their maximum. I'm now on hold as the operator speaks to the store manager. Of course, I got transferred to a recorded message. So I KE eft a voicemail and not expecting to hear back. No wonder stores are going out of business. I should have used Amazon.

Horrible customer service. When I went to the customer service I asked if they were accepting returns and "Valentina" the representative said yes and made a face. Then I started taking out items I wanted to returned, I had ordered online, and she sighs and says next time return it directly do not come to store for returns because we dont have place to store these items. Sucks!
