I have been a regular customer here, but today was the 2nd instance that I faced such a scenario. 1st scenario : diwali 2019 : woman there (I guess the owner lady) greeted my son by handing my then 2.5 yr old son a cookie packet which didn't have it's box and said "happy diwali". When I came home and had those biscuits I came to know it's an old packet of biscuit which they removed the the outer most box and distributed with just the inner wrapper cover !! Why would some one do this !! 2nd instance : whole world was in a pandemic state due to corona virus spreading all over, I went to buy groceries when stocks were rare. They had an expired sesame oil bottle which just expired in the month of March(I went to buy groceries on March 31st). One more instance was like once when I asked that the cilantro leaves were a little blackish to the aunty there at the shop she came back with a heavier voice saying IT IS GOOD. Just to hide and prove sth is good raising the voice isnt a good idea.

Here is my experience at this placeThe prepared foods specifically chicken tikka masala did not taste fresh neither good. I had lots of Indian foods from Jackson heights queens and other places so I know a bit about how it should taste.Also the price was way too high, $20+tax for a small aluminum plate probably had a cup full chicken the rest is sauce!Called several times wanted to speak to the owner he avoids the phone and the employees don’t care.Never again, don’t waste you time and moneyOne star is even too muchCredit me, yeah right! You’d probably spit in my food, You think after you serve bad unhealthy food I want to step a foot in your store!Your prices almost double what’s in other stores not to mention your tins of expired items on your shelves on top of that you overcharge at the register not give a receipt on purpose!!!!!!Health department and others should come after you, I will contact them for the safety of others

I picked up a huge pickup order. The order took way too long to prepare. The owner was rude about it. The to go containers weren’t closed and leaked all over my car. When I called the restaurant to tell them the owner hung up on me.

Great selection of spices, cooked food, everything - Indian. I took home some of the Spicy Eggplant. WOW - it's spicy, great blend of spices and absolutely delicious. If you like heat - this is a side dish to try. I've had the Okra in the past, also very delicious.The owner is really nice and helpful. Too bad they don't offer cooking classes!!

I was so excited to get goat biryani...but once I got it I was so disappointed...everything about it was bad...the rice was super dry tasted like leftovers from yesterday or something n the goat was all bones I had 2 pieces that had some meat on it ..that was also very dry too.. overall my first n last time.

Great selection of all thing's Indian- spices, fruits/veg, sauces and some very nice pre-cooked meals. Recommended for curry heads and those of good taste.

Used to be my go-to. For Father's day, this is what I requested; chili and garlic naan + chicken. through Grubhub. This establishment cancelled the order after 45 minutes, assumedly because my order wasn't large enough? bad call, I had probably spent 1,000's of $$ in the past 12 months at your restaurant. And these next 12 months will be $0.

The store displays a severe disregard for customer safety by stocking expired products and relying on customers to verify the expiration dates. Alarmingly, 25% of the items I selected were already past their shelf life. I regretfully assign a 1-star rating due to the store's blatant negligence, as this poses a significant health risk to their customers who may not always notice the expired status of the products.

Always ask for an itemized bill especially if the guy is ringing you up. He charges you for things you didn’t buy. This has happened at least 5 times now. How do you not make sure you are not charging extra things to your customer’s bill after all these instances?! We found a charge that cost us $30 extra in our latest bill. Because of the itemized bill we were able to point out the mistake and get a refund. Be careful!

Beautiful store and excellent quality. However, unfortunately can’t be trusted with their prices. All of the produce were unmarked and was a bit shocked when I saw my final tab, they will never see me again!

Traveling across the state today, saw the good reviews and decided to grab lunch here. 10/10 recommend- the daal was incredible and the peshwari naan was the best I’ve ever had! Thank you :)
