Room was spacious and comfortable. The decor and ambiance of the room as a whole is quite modernIt’s located in a suburban area and there’s not much to do nearby unless you have a car. The hotel offers a shuttle service to several places which is great

The hotel charged me for a two night stay when I only stayed one. The construction was loud and all day and started again early the next morning around 7 am. The heater in the room was going on and off nonstop and it was hard to sleep throughout the night with the noise. Not a good experience.Food & drinks: Places to eat nearby

What a beautiful hotel from the lobby to the rooms. I would like to give a special shoutout to Mohammad and Olga. Mohammad welcomed me in with so much kindness when I arrived late. I asked Olga for toilet paper which she didn’t have in the moment and I saw later when I came back to the room that she had put a bag of it on my door which was a pleasant surprise. Mohammad asked if everything was okay because I was checking out early. I only had to check out early to avoid traffic the next day. It meant a lot that he was very personable. The entire staff was friendly. I look forward to coming back here again

Jillian at the front desk is a stellar Hilton Representative. For a career traveler, this humble spot is quickly becoming a favorite. Dinner Menu leaves much to be desired.

Pretty nice hotel and close to the freeway. Mix Prime steak and sushi is right down the road and has really good food!

We've been here for five months and counting, going on six... We are in one of the older rooms and it's not that bad.. no matter what anyone else says you will find someone who always likes to complain... They allow pets which is great my cat loves it of course.. the bar food isn't bad for bar food the cheeseburger is really good BTW.. I get Amazon delivered here almost every day!! They have a pool witch is nice and work out center.. Brittany and Natalie are awesome!! So is everyone else!! ❤️???!! So do not listen to the negative reviews because as I said everyone likes to complain about something. Also remember if you want housekeeping you have to at least give 24 hour notice. Thank you ??. Also this place is awesome because I don't have to worry about finding a place to live because for now this is home ..

Clean, comfortable rooms/beds, friendly accommodating staff, no issues whatsoever. We used the hotel as a place to stay overnight after a family wedding.

The hotel was clean, and beautiful. But I give it 2 stars for several reasons.1) There is no complimentary anything.2) Breakfast starts at 13 dollars and up.3) I asked for a complimentary water since I had been on the road for hours. I was asked by Mohammed at the front desk what room number I was in. I told him my room number. He looked it up in the computer and said that I need to join a rewards program in order to get a complimentary water. I told him that I was there with my company and it's under the bosses name. He basically said too bad. No bottle of water.I called the boss and he said that he was offered two bottles of water at check in, but told him that he couldn't carry them at that time, and someone would come and get them. I told Mohammed this and he said that now it's not because of being a rewards member but that I cannot have it because my name is not on the room, but the bosses name is. Well the boss had to go back to the job and he could not be there to get it, so we said forget the water because Mohammed said it's 3 dollars a piece.I then chose a tiny container of ice cream out of the store pantry. It's the ones that are sold for 1 dollar at grocery stores. He told me that it's 7 dollars.I understand paying for convenience, but this is way overpriced. My boss was not happy that no one in either of the two rooms that he rented were allowed to get even a bottle of water with the room.We will stay somewhere else from now on.It made it worse that Mohammed was rude and not understanding.

The pool is still under construction the bathroom fan did not work, and there was plumbing drain issues in our room that could be a big problem for the next person. Other than that, the renovations are impecable. Everything was fresh and extremely clean and the TV and WiFi were great. There’s no room service but TONS of door dash options and Danbury is a beautiful town.

Middle of refurbishment. Had issues with entry into room. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Sink clogged. Definitely time for refurbish.

There's a lot to express here, room was poorly designed, supposedly just renovated, door opened into each other, stuck closed, hard to open. Bathroom smelled heavily like paint, no vent in the bathroom for that or the shower. The towels racks were in the shower, not outside. Room was very damp, causing one of us to get an ear infection. No power cord to brand new TV, when we recieved one, remote batteries were dead. Pool was filthy, hair floating around, maintenance guys in it fixing the ladder, using the grinder and other tools while we were in there, no one wearing PPE. Fitness room was a mess, cable machine was broken, one set of weights matched, screens broken on treadmill and elliptical. The entrance door to our hallway had no lock, completely broken so there was no safety there for us or other guests. No breakfast for guests included, not even coffee, expected to pay at the restaurant. Hosts were very rude, especially to parents. Only reason for the star was the night desk hostess was trying to help us with the TV problem and was nice. Other than that wished we would have stayed elsewhere. Not worthy of a Hilton or what you expect from one.

I am very disappointed to share our experience with the Hilton Garden Inn. I travel frequently and a member of the HILTON HONORS Club. My daughter had the joy of being married this past weekend 8/26. As part of our celebration we had many family and friends coming into town. With my experience from staying Hiltons across the country we did not hesitate to reach of to this venue and use it as a common landing for family and friends. We arranged with the hotel to book many rooms with a discount price (22 rooms). Part of the agreement was a Bridle Suite. Unfortunately we hit a few bumps in the road with this arrangement. When trying to register our family and friends had problems getting the discount rate. We identified this early and worked it out. Part of the compensation was an additional free room. Sounded pretty good.My daughter, who lives in Vermont came to register into her Bridle suite and was told it was given to another bride as the hotel was hosting 4 wedding guests. Needless to say this did not go over well. One of the things we did notice thru this whole journey was a common practice of those we talked too blaming someone else on the Hilton staff with the errors. My daughter and her bridle party were given a conference room to prepare for the big date instead of the comfort of the Bridle suite. On top of that, my other daughter was charged a $159.00 room fee for the free room promised earlier. We are still chasing down that refund.BOTTOM LINE: I do not recommend this venue. This is an example of how NOT to do business in this industry. The Management of this venue should be embarrassed. I also shared our experience with the Candlewood Inn who hosted the wedding.
