I did not sell anything to this company but I spoke over the phone 4 minute after open, to a very helpful gentleman. I asked for an over the phone appraisal and instead of trying to lure me in they suggest I sell it online for a better value.Do not let others bad experiences deter you from your own experience. 5/5

Went In about 3 weeks ago and was going to sell my pistol because of a move. Andy, the manager was able to convince me to keep it and that he could help me out with the shipment of my firearm to a new FFL certified shop to my new location. I was VERY Pleased with his customer service, he took great care of me and my needs. Thank you Hat City Pawn!!!!

I am from out of town and ran into a situation where I needed some fast cash. Stopped in to Hat City ( because of the website). It was clean well organized and you could tell it was well run. Andy and Bobby gave me a fair price and it helped me out. The guys were awesome and and had a nice chat about the area. They made the process painless and professional.. I am from the deep south and they treated me like I was a local, felt good. Check them out you will not be disappointed.

Hat City Pawn is a the best pawn shop in the Danbury Area. Andy and Billy are great to deal with and are fair and honest. Hands down the best place to go in Danbury if you are in need of their services. A+++

There is not a chance I can believe any of these 5 star reviews. I have been to plenty of pawn shops. The prices here are insane. Also, there are signs in the front that say masks required but neither of the guys working there (owners) had a mask on and they required you to remove your mask when you came in just so the cameras can see. Talk about hypocrites. Money hungry as well.

Hat City Pawn here on Federal Rd is a Pleasure to go in and look around .. Went in looking for A particular Firearm that I was interested in and Andy was very knowledgeable he answered all my questions and ended Buying what I was looking for .... Andy and Billy were so helpful when I went in to buy a new camera lens last week. They took the time to listen to exactly what I was looking for. The price was reasonable and they greeted me the moment I walked in. The pawn shop overall was very clean. I would absolutely recommend this pawn shop to anyone who is looking to do business with them.

From the owner to the staff that work at the store, great customer service, spot on attention to detail on all transactions and they offer competitive pricing on items to pawn or sell. The store offers a great service to its clientele. I highly recommend then for all your needs, gold trade in, firearms, ammunition, firearms transfers are just a few of the services that they offer.
