The place is awesome. Staff is super nice. If you like, and understand, the vintage video game sphere this place is fantastic. Very nostalgic seeing some of the titles.

Unfortunately, I just had an incredibly negative experience here. I love supporting local game ships, especially ones that feature old achosc games. But tonight's experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not near Danbury, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. When trying to trade in some games tonight, I was lectured multiple times by the customer service associate about not having the games in their original jewel cases. I know, I suck, my bad. But it continued to be hammered home, and then many of my games were out and out rejected with the only explanation being that the manager doesn't accept sports games. For the few games that were accepted, I did feel I got a fair deal on. I realize this review is a bit long-winded, but I'm incredibly disappointed that a game shop unnecessarily went out of their way to make a gamer feel unwelcome. I received better customer service from the GameStop further down in the mall.

I LOVE this game store. I'm a fan of old-school games and especially GameCube, and there's no store that compares to Level 01 in its supply of affordable older games (that all still work perfectly!). The owner is really friendly and extremely knowledgeable about games and all his products -- I loved that he and I could chat a little about some old games we both loved. I go to college in Boston, but I come here whenever I'm home to stock up on GameCube games and equipment. Seriously, you can't find GameCube stuff ANYWHERE anymore, so Level 01 is a total lifesaver since I hate paying (and waiting) for shipping. If you're a lover of old games, or games in general, this is the place to go.

Nice store for retro video games. A little more expensive then Amazon but you're getting guaranteed to work retro games which most other physical video game retailers don't sell at all. They mostly carry retro systems and games and systems such as Nintendo 64, original Xbox and PlayStation. They have friendly employees, they make the costumers feel welcome and have Smashing promotions. Very nice local store!

I've come here a few times for trade ins and retro games. The place is great. The people who work there are polite, and have great chemistry with each other, which is infectious, making the store feel more like a hang out than a store. Whether you're interested in a trip to the past, or just a few good people to speak to while you're waiting for your shift to begin, Lvl 1 is where it's at.

Being a pretty big fan of SNES games, this store always hits the nostalgic button when I walk in. Plenty of inventory to look through for all ages. The staff here are top notch and are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Normally, if they don't have a retro game you're looking for, they'll direct you towards the nearest location that might. They'll also order new stuff if you ask for it, like new consoles and whatnot, since their appeal is geared more towards retro gaming. Love this place and will continue to frequent.

Great place for new and retro games! Gave me a lot for some vintage game as well! I have a suggestion maybe start selling used dvds as well miss having a store like FYE in that mall.

This shop just recently opened in the mall and I have to say it's very eloquent. They offer a variety of games and consoles from n-64 to 360 and everything in between including parts. The workers are very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are fair but the inventory is not very large and you can't go in there excepting to find one specific game but they do have some good games. All together it's a good local video game shop with nice employees and a ok inventory.
