I tried to return a defective toy, manager was rude and wouldn't offer any assistance. I would not recommend this store or Best Buy because they sell broken toys and have a horrible return/exchange policy.

Pascal is the best! In fact everyone I deal with at Geek Squad in Danbury is awesome. They don't talk over your head and make sure you understand what you came in not understanding - they are prompt and thorough and trustworthy. So happy with everyone there - will return!

I have been dealing with Keith at the Danbury Best Buy, and he has been phenomenal. I have ordered all my kitchen appliances and things have gone very smoothly. Keith is exceedingly intelligent and follows through to get the job done. Keith also worked with me to make sure I got the best prices available. I would not hesitate to use Keith for all additional purchases. As a matter of fact, I just ordered a television. One problem with Best Buy is you cannot get anybody on the phone in the store. You must depend on email or an in person visit. They do check their emails, so make to get the email from the person you are dealing with and if it's Keith, you'll always get a reply. I think who you get as a sales person makes a big difference and I was lucky enough to meet Keith and and have his help and expertise with my purchases.

I had a problem with a product that I purchased. I thought I would have to have someone look at it but because it was a printer and an issue where it wouldn't print I was told to just take a new one. I was totally surprised, but they said it could be an issue with a little piece of paper stuck or a sensor problem. Not only did they handle everything beautifully, but offered to get me help getting it to the car. I declined but it was very nice to have the offer since I'm 77 and the printer was rather heavy

Their phone service is bad called for an item, with two phones but the woman hung up or acted like they didn't hear. Maybe it's me but I was looking for a cable thru had in stock but no sale. Left and went to Target. Sad

Oh my goodness I haven't been here in a long time and they sell everything from the kitchen sink. No literally I think the kitchen sinks here now, but well definitely a lot of appliances, including pots and pans and countertop appliances to everything you can think of, including a toothbrush. when the line started the form at the customer service, they opened up 2 more counters. When we did our return, we went to find a replacement, and everyone was eager to help us with information and also look up for price busting. Great job guys keep up the good work.

Ordered a dishwasher that was told was in stock , given a delivery date , didn't come. After a exorbitant time on hold told it wouldn't come until a week later . Didn't come and then told they had no record of delivery date set up. Just kept telling us it was in transport . Ended up canceling order. Will never do business with them again! 0 stars but had to push a star to post

I made an order in September of this year on line, as always for 2 sets of speaker stands, and two Sonos speakers. When the order arrived the driver put everything in my garage. I finally had some time this weekend to put the speaker stands together for my Sonos, and although I saw some damage to the boxes, I really didn't think much of it, but it was missing parts. So the next day, I head down to the store, and meet with an associate inside named Mike, and he helped me bring the items in to the store for me and was processing the return. I was 1 day late of the 15 day return period, and when Mike called up the manager Amanda, she said I can't help you I can only give you a store credit. I said I don't want a store credit and asked to have the credit applied to my original form of payment. This woman could have cared less. She was not helpful at all, and looked at me as if I was a burden. After she said what she said she also advised me that she was following the store policy, and I should have bought the program that extends everything out for an additional fee, and she just walked away. I was totally caught off guard with her response, she then said here's the number to corporate take this up with them!!! Well calling corporate was no help, because all there calls are over seas, and they don't deal with issues like this. I said your customer service!!!! What do you do!!! Amanda knew very well what she was doing, she knew corporate was a waste of time, and she was just patronizing me. Amanda should realize that customers like me who spend money, are the reason why she has a job, because without customers like myself she has no job!!! I have made other calls, but so far there is no responce. I hope I saved someone the aggravation of what I went through after sharing my experience, because I am not doing business with Best Buy again. Oh just an FYI, if you do order from there website on line, if the item needs to be returned, bring it back to the store yourself. If you chose to print the return label, and send it out yourself, it takes forever to process your return... Buyer Beware!!! Update to the above... I was contacted by another manager by the name of Zach from the Danbury Best Buy. After telling him what I said above, this is how he spun it. After Amanda threw the paper at me telling me "to take it up with corporate" when she walked away I turned to the associate helping me, he made a comment, and I asked for his pen, and said what is that - - - - - name, apparently he filed a "Report" because he was "offended". I did not wake up in the morning looking for a fight, I asked for help, and I was disrespected, and disrespected once again this evening. Zach didn't even listen to me. he just made excuses for her actions. I asked him "you never said anything to anyone after being disrespected" he said "Yea I understand, but I cant think of a time I used a word like that" Stew Leonards in Danbury has a sign in the front of it store. "Rule #1 the customer is always right" Rule #2 "If the customer is wrong reread rule #1" Apparently that rule doesn't apply at Best Buy in Danbury even after spending thousands of dollars every year. I will never do business with them again. Oh and like Amanda ,Zach pushed the $200 program that gives me extra benefits.

Terrible installation done by Geek Squad. Rather than using the correct parts, they chose to drill out a notch to install the Apple CarPlay connection, destroying a switch blank in the process. They broke a rear bumper trim bolt when installing the backup camera. I understand that on older vehicles, sometimes bolts break so that's not the problem. What is more concerning is that NO ONE said a word about it until I pointed out the damage. To their credit, they did offer to repair the damage but unfortunately they just made the issue worse by using a random bolt/washer rather than getting the genuine part from the dealer. FYI, I purchased 5 rear bumper trim bolts from Toyota for $12 and re-repaired it correctly. Also when installing the backup camera, they measured incorrectly and drilled the mounting hole about 3 inches left of center. Now to fix it, the rear bumper cover has to be replaced, the hole re-drilled and camera re-mounted. If I could give them Zero stars, it would be too many. They installed a remote starter for my car. They did good job the first time but something started failing the next day and I had to come back to get it fixed. They fixed it for good. Great service. Appointments were not on close dates. I had to wait at least 1 week on both appointments.

the worst.... brought my computer in, it would shut off and then come on again. it also had pop ups all the time.they said it had been infected with a common virus. they could take care of it no problem. if i signed a contract they would fix the problem and they would cover any problems for a year.they made it worse. it wold play a video but had no sound, it just needed to have a driver downloaded. they made everything worse not only did they not download a driver for the sound on the video, something i could have done but the deleted the program to play the video ..they deleted all my info and couldn't recover all of it. each time i went to pic it up it was worse and each time i had to bring it back. after three or four tries [might have been even more, one or two times i had them try it when i was still there and it didn't work so i just left it there. l finally told them to cancel my contract and give me my money back.there response was ...//well you can cancel your contract but you will have to pay for all the work that was done!what work all they did was make it worse and the pop ups even seemed to be worse ...never againi will be taking them to court to recover the cost of the contract and for my time and and travel expenses. i tried to post this with no stars, it wouldn't let me, that is way there is one star.
