An excellent nail bar with exceptional skills and services. Their attention to detail is outstanding, it’s a great find in Danbury. A great find is DAI -Mercy’s Body Butter- it’s all natural & amazing for dry skin, eczema, a treasure which is available unscented & lavender…it’s worth picking up 1 or 2 jars.

Amazing! Everyone is so friendly and the owners are always accommodating. I am new to Danbury and needed a nail salon. I went to a couple in neighboring towns, and they were just not good. Found D&D Nails and their work is beautiful! I've now been going here for almost a year and my nails always look perfect, and not to mention LAST a long time! Another thing I love is being able to book online! If I remember to book an appointment at 10pm, no problem I just book online, all set. I've never had better manis & pedis! Highly recommend!!

Clean and comfortable. Not a chatty group (not a negative--just an FYI if you are expecting a more social experience). My manicure and pedicure both look great and are lasting a long time. Will definitely go back when in CT again.

I needed my old gel manicure off and updated, and I wanted to try a new place because I am looking for a salon that is very precise and caring when it comes to how my nails turn out. I saw this salon on a mutuals story and decided to try them out. I made an appointment online through link on their Instagram and selected Dai. My nails look so clean and I am sooo satisfied with the job she did. I will definitely be returning and if you’re picky about evenness, shape etc like I am, i’d recommend here!Service: Gel manicures

I have never had any bad experiences here. Always very welcoming and inviting. Still get compliments on my nails weeks later. Dai is my nail tech and is the most sweetest and knowledgeable person I know. She has helped me with toe mail journey as well. Also can’t forget Dai makes home made scrubs and moisturizer!

I'm so happy to have found you on Google. Thank you! My nails look beautiful and I'm sooo HAPPY!! Went for a second time to get a pedicure and was as happy as the 1st time I went! Great care on my toes ☺️

Went today for a basic manicure I scheduled through the website. The salon is gross. I was seated at a station next to the entrance. The table had a grate in it that was full of old nail clippings and shavings. Right away that's nasty. Who wants to put their hands on top of something filled with other people's nail trimmings? As I sat there, I looked around and noticed that the mat at the front door was covered in hair and dirt. There was dirt all around it in the floor too. There was so much hair I was expecting to see a shedding dog or cat at some point, because how does that amount of hair pile up on a mat at a nail salon? The small wooden table I sat at to dry my nails was so covered in dust that I could see multiple fingerprints in the dust on the top shelf. I could've written my name in the dust. That thing had clearly not been wiped down in quite awhile. I get that there's going to be dust from all the filing, but you'd think the owner would make it a habit to have the staff wipe down surfaces each night given that there's nail dust flying around. I had a 10 am appointment and the salon opened at 9, so it's not like I came in after a long day. The place should be clean 1-hour into the work day. The aprons the staff wear are really gross looking too. Again, I get that stuff gets dusty, but if that's to be expected, why would you not have enough aprons to make sure everyone can have a clean one each day? It seems like there's a lack of pride in presentation here. To be okay with the level of dirt and dust and okay with employees work aprons being that dirty is reflective of low standards. On the positive side, the cuticle pusher and cutter used had been sanitized and packaged in a sterile wrapper for single use, but that seemed to be the extent of the cleaning that happens here. Someone wiped down the workstation with a Lysol wipe when I sat down, but I wish they would've emptied out the pile of old nail trimmings from the center grate. Somebody please get this place a vacuum, broom, and mop.On top of the lacking cleanliness, I felt so unwelcome here. I was so excited to come here because it's Latina-owned. I'm Latina, but I felt totally out of place and unwanted here. This was my first time coming here and literally no one talked to me aside from the person who sort of greeted me when I entered. The extent of that greeting was me saying, "Hi, I have a 9:55 am appt with Fanny" to which the response was "pick your color" followed by "you can sit here". That was the full extent of the greeting and communication I had with anyone until it was time to pay. The person who did my nails (not even sure if it was Fanny) didn't say hello to me, didn't ask how I am, didn't ask for my name, didn't even tell me their name. Nothing. She didn't even say thank you when I handed her a more than 20% cash tip ($5 tip on a $17 mani). There was conversation and friendliness between everyone else, but I sat there in silence staring at the floor the entire time. I did not feel even a little bit welcome. The little table for drying nails is set up in a bad spot. I had to sit with my back to everyone facing the door and a corner. It kind of felt like being put on time out and having to sit in a corner for punishment. The manicure itself was average. I had really wanted to ask if I could get a French manicure when I got there, but I felt really uncomfortable, like I would be bothering someone if I asked for anything. I even stopped to get more cash so I'd have enough to leave a bigger tip, but the closed-off vibe I got made me feel so stressed out that I felt like had to be quiet and not ask for anything. The nail polish used was very thick. As it was being put on, I just knew it was going to dent and smudge with any tiny bump. Sure enough, I bumped a nail on my keys while getting into my car. I felt so uncomfortable between the dirtiness and the vibe in the salon that I opted to drive down the street and go to a different s

I'm so happy to have found this nail salon. Let’s just say I get the royal treatment every visit and this is not limited to me, they treat every customer this way, and are all exceptionally talented. They’re professional, the prices are fair—worth every penny for the quality. The place is immaculate from corner to corner, every station is clean, and the bathroom is an absolute dream, which is a big deal to me. I truly love D&D nails.

Lazzara my nail tech was talented and friendly. Great attention to detail and checked that I liked my nails at multiple stages of the process. There was a strong chemical smell from the nail products which was my only negative. Will def be back I love how my nails came outServices: Nail art

Amazing! This will definitely be my go to place from now on. Lazzara was so sweet and did a fantastic job on my nails. Got a UV gel full set with design. I looked at several places in the area before making my decision to go here and I don’t regret it one bit! Book here, you won’t be disappointed!Services: Sculpted nails

I had a wonderful experience! I been living in Danbury for over 3 years and I tried a few nail salon places, but I was never satisfied, my nails has always chipped right away. But when I tried D&D nails my nails lasted a long time, and the shape of my nails look so healthy!!!

Terrible experience! Drove 25 minutes to trial this place because the reviews were so good. I was a walk-in and they took me right away, but only let a skilled team member start my pedicure and then gave me the “new girl” who was training and did not explain this to me. She had no clue how to paint nails. She did a terrible job finishing my pedicure, but attempted to start my gel manicure and didn’t know where to begin. I walked out when she started to painfully push my cuticles back dry and shoved the cutter deep into my skin. She was shaking because she was so nervous and asked everyone what to do next because she had no clue. Bottom line is the salon looked clean and everyone else in the salon looked skilled, but they should not be employing someone who has no clue what they are doing and then subject a person to this and charge. Their prices are high, but I don’t mind if they are worth it. Cutting cuticles and drilling nails takes a person who has real training and this girl was a wreck. If you go there, make sure you book with someone that actually works there and most importantly, they should not be telling people she has done nails before because…. believe me she has not! I wish them well, but they lost a great paying customer.Services: Pedicure
