The pharmacy at the lake street ext. Danbury is the worst. Nobody ever looks up so they have no idea that there are customers waiting. After waiting 5 min. You say excuse me can we get some help and they cop an attitude. The store manager is great but she can’t keep an eye on the pharmacy constantly. The pharmacist is in charge back there and she also pays no attention to the customers. I have been a CVS customer for ever and never had this problem until moving to CT. And using this pharmacy. They really need to have a supervisor set them straight on customer service.

Terrible experience. They have no staff. Wait time is horrific. This is the third time I attempted to pick up my prescription. So third time i drove there. Money is time. Drive through closed. Place wa dirty. No staff to handle their customers. They are not asking if you have any concerns or questions about your prescription and the prompt on their checkout screen is more concerned with soliciting you for money for a cause. REALLY.

I genuinely would not recommend this location for your pharmacy needs. Getting a prescription filled here is an absolute headache. I’ve gone to other pharmacies and the wait has never been more than a few hours but for some reason this place can make you wait for over a day. Their text message system for updating patients on the status of the RX is unreliable, date estimation are unhelpful. The last two RX I needed to pick up there required multiple phone calls to get the matter settled. There not great at communicating with patients (it should be more timely). Also, they should really know how to use the hold function on their phone if they want to hold private conversations. Go to Walgreens, Rite Aid, or another CVS because this pharmacy is not efficient or reliable. The store on the other hand is lovely, the staff are friendly and they are generally well stocked.

I purchased a $39.00 Ellume Covid-19 home test from CVS on Lake Ave ext. Danbury ( only purchased because I have a 90th Birthday party to attend and was being considerate). Unfortunately this test requires an App to be downloaded on only CERTAIN compatible devices to obtain the results. My device was not compatible and CVS refused to refund the purchase even though the product was not opened or adulterated in any way. In conjunction, I was told by the assistant manager Kyle to submit it to my insurance company for reimbursement even thought it wasn't utilized. I was actually advised to perform fraudulent activity.

My mother a senior citizen 80 years old wanted to send me money via the money gram she asked for assistance and two people refused to help her they simply told her read the instructions you can you can figure it out I feel this is very disrespectful not nice very unprofessional I will never go to this freaking store again thank you also maybe this is the reason why CVS is closing nationwide because of lack of customer service not paying attention to the customers needs when they need help and their elder

I've been going to this CVS for years and have found the staff consistently friendly and professional. I have good friendly social skills and these people have always responded in kind. On Sep 30 I went there for a flu shot. The guy at the pharmacy counter recoiled and put his head down the moment he saw me, put as little energy as possible in helping, when I asked what the acceptable range for topical body temperature after he told me what mine was, he paused then said "You don't need to know that." WHO IS THIS EMPLOYEE TO TELL A FRIENDLY INTELLIGENT CUSTOMER WHAT THEY NEED TO KNOW WHEN THE QUESTION IS THAT REASONABLE? Let a small, low self-esteem person think they are the gatekeeper and this is what happens. When I got my shot by a friendly and professional young woman and started to leave, it occurred to me I hadn't been given the paperwork I normally got after the shot. The guy was nowhere to be found and I didn't see any other customers or employees in the area. The injector literally ran in back to get my paperwork so basically the guy inconvenienced both a customer and a co-worker. I'm not from this area and have consistently found the staff at this CVS to be more friendly and professional than the norm. This recent experience was nothing like the others. If you can't deal with the public without letting your insecurities get in the way, you shouldn't be dealing with the public. Pay attention to how your more-decent co-workers interact with customers. This guy was a bad hire. I pretty much moved on and forgot about it then something triggered me into remembering that if I was this guy's boss, I'd want to know this happened.

It absolutely saddens me to have to even write this review, but this experience needs to be shared. My husband approached April (cashier) to ask her a question and she was extremely rude and condescending. We later returned to purchase something else, when I witnessed April yelling at my husband that he needs to relax and even told him "shhh a couple of times". She then called her manager up front to ring us up, Larry "the manager" as well did not care to listen to the customers need. This business lacks customer service, and just plain respect! Now I do not know if it was a racial thing both April and Larry had against us. But I MUST make it clear to the public. Hopefully the next colored customer would be heard and treated with respect. Avoid this CVS and support one that does not discriminate!!!

Absolute worst place to go for covid test screening or vaccination. No direction from anyone, no one really wants to help you and they are not familiar with their own processes. Went to one store they cancelled my appointment told me to go to this store. Get to this store they couldnt honor my appointment. Made another appointment for later in the day and they tell you to wait in parking lot and call cvs covid number but dont provide you a number. Total incompetence. Go anywhere else.

Excellent ! Clinic, restroom, atm and plenty parking. Across street stop & shop restaurants, bus stop and more. Clean but no trash can around. Where people waste them?

Watch our for CVS ROBOCALLS !! omg they are soooo annoying! You will NOT be informed that your number will be placed on a robocall dialer and you will be called with an annoying message "you have a prescription on file here time to renew?" even if your RX isn't renewable! I was called for a person that is not even me!! Trying to get them to STOP is impossible through the store employees who are sincerely trying to help, however have NO INFORMATION on how to stop the calls. Here is a number to get yourself out of the robocalls; 800.746.7287. just say STOP PHARMACY REMINDERS and you will be able to enter your number to get off the list. GO TO WALGREENS OR ANY OTHER PLACE TO AVOID THIS ANNOYING STORE !!

Wait times on the phone for this pharmacy are ridiculous. Called a few weeks ago, three times, and when I finally called the regular front desk, they said the pharmacist was out. Now I've been on hold for 17 minutes for them to answer a simple question. And almost every time, they get the script wrong even though there is a note in my file that I need the exact medication and not the generic, AS PER THE DOCTOR. Unfortunately it's the pharmacy I have to use. Most often they are super rude, with the occasional lovely staff person. Wish they could just get it right!!

Horrible CVS. Completely understaffed, I went to take my daughters first ever passport pictures. Customer after customer kept showing up and staff waited on them first. Pretty much had to wait till everyone else was taken of (who showed up way after I had) in order to take the pics. Definitely never coming back again.
