I really can’t say enough about how kind Juana and the team at AWA were to my father in law and me. From the minute I spoke to them on the phone, I could feel my blood pressure go down. Trying to find someone who would submit to Medicare for a cane for my father in law was proving to be a challenge until I called AWA. They were able to get him a cane, adjust it to him properly, and they would have delivered if we hadn’t been able to pick it up. They made everything smooth and easy. Just fantastic people who know how to treat their customers right! If we need any more medical supplies, they will be the first place I think of. Thank you again and blessings to all of you!!

The only thing positive thing about our experience with AWA was the delivery. It is unfortunate that this business chooses not to accept Insurance for hospital beds. My insurance clearly stated that they have a contract with AWA and they would definitely cover the bill 100%, except for our $10 co-pay. I spoke with the owner and she refused to bill my insurance company. I explained to the owner that her refusal to do the paperwork and bill the insurance was an unfair and discriminatory business practice.The owner’s refusal to bill an insurance company with whom they have a contract is particularly egregious since most of her customers are recovering from a serious injury, or have an illness that requires a hospital bed . AWA Is taking advantage of patients who need care as soon as possible.If you were looking for a hospital bed, and you know your insurance is going to cover it I would say definitelyDo Not rent from AWA in Danbury.

People who need medical equipment are particularly vulnerable and require competence from their supplier. They won't find it here. Start with totally inadequate parking. Then find a staff incapable of handling the simplest insurance claim and unable to communicate effectively with customers. If you have any other option for a provider, it has to be better than this. Kerri K. and Casey T. I wish I had seen your reviews before trying to become an AWA customer. They are impossible. My story closely parallels yours.

They made a mistake on something. I didn't notice it till my procedure. Even though it was never used they wouldn't make it right. They already billed my insurance. I hope they return it. Now I'm at risk for a blood clot.The man who works there is great. He was busy on phone that day and their was a line to the door.

They are always so cheerful and helpful any time you call! If they don't know the answer, they always look into and research for you to get the answer! Wonderful staff!!!!! And great supplies!!!!!

Finding medical equipment for my mother using her Medicare Ins. was virtually impossible in Danbury until I called AWA. Juanna processed everything through the insurance. I picked up the entire script within an hour. Thank you Juanna for being so helpful and knowledgeable. Awesome customer service.

The staff here came thru big time when my nebulizer gave out and i was having trouble with a script being sent to rite aid. I called them told them the issue they called my doctors office themselves to get the script sent over and had it ready for me when i got there.. best of all the nice lady i spoke to hooked me up with a hot pink one! Great work!!!

AWA has helped my family out tremendously; especially my grandfather. We were in need of a hospital bed for him because he had surgery and liked the way the bed felt at the hospital and how it helped him progress after the surgery. The AWA staff were very respectful, kind, caring and very knowledgible on the products they dispense at their store. The atmosphere was well kept and nicely put together. Overall, I will be suggesting their service to family and friends.
