My last experience was horrible. The guys that came all looked and acted like ex convicts. They became upset when they saw the amount of boxes I had and proceeded to tell me they are not taking all of this because it is not on their order. When their manager called and told them otherwise they became upset and began yanking my fragile items out of frustration. I was so uncomfortable that I asked them to leave and had to find someone else at the last minute! Never using them again!

Moving is stressful enough but when management and systems are inconsistent and not streamlined, miscommunication and confusion is almost always a byproduct of horrible customer service. Now, to be fair, not all the service reps were horrible, BUT one particular manager was beyond deplorable! Never in my life have I ever encountered a more unprofessional and unpleasant woman, who just so happens to be a manager. She hung up on me because I was voicing my displeasure in the way they communicated with us in trying to settle an issue THEY created. No concessions or honoring verbal commitments from other service reps (trying to be apologetic) however, from management nothing but utter disdain and to make matters worse: she canceled the move, hung up on me and kept our deposit. Needless to say, I don't believe in cancel culture but I do believe in holding ppl accountable and Amanda Pocevic is a horrible representation of leadership and reflects poorly on your company! Future customers, think long and hard before you choose this company! It doesn't matter what's in writing or what's verbalized over the phone. Good luck movers.

To the consumer: do not book this moving company and run, don't walk, away from this company. If I could give this company zero stars I would. This company gave us the worst experience one could imagine with a moving company. First, the movers showed up at almost 2:00 in the afternoon and were very tired, even though I booked them almost a month in advance. The movers later proceeded to tell us that they were not even told about our job until they were about to clock out for the day, after completing their first move that morning. We were an after-thought. Second, I had told that this company was able to (and would) disassemble and reassemble our bed. We relied on that fact and it was a key part of our decision booking this company. The customer service rep put no qualifications on their ability to disassemble/reassemble; it was an unqualified "yes." Yet, when it was time to do so, the movers refused and said that it was "situational." Instead, they offered to break our $2,000 bed. When I insisted on trying to take it apart myself (since I was given no other option), they stood around and watched. One even had the audacity to ask my wife and I whether we "knew [they] were coming" that day. To make things even worse, I was misled into thinking that a call I received earlier that week was an approximate inventory. That is not true. It was a complete inventory - which I was not given a chance to review. The customer service rep, Cliff, called me in the middle of my work day, and wrote down the items I orally told him on the call that we would be moving. I was never given a chance to ensure that he accurately recorded every item I listed for him, nor was I told that if I did not list an item, the movers would not move it. Additionally, due to the unscheduled nature of the call, I was not home and able to visually review our packed items and space as I participated on the call with Cliff. Cliff also told me this was a big job, that he would send three guys, and that we would get preference in scheduling because I scheduled so far in advance. Lo and behold, the movers refused to move anything that was not exactly "on the iPad." They told us that their dispatcher told them our move was a quick job, 2 hours tops. The movers proceeded to argue with us for almost twenty minutes about moving over half of our items (despite having stood around for an hour while I took the bed apart by myself), and then when they moved the two TV's which I had listed on my phone call with Cliff, they were careless, neglected to wrap one of them, and broke it. My wife and I had to take 8 car loads full to the brim in our SUV's to move everything the movers refused to move. There are countless other items that were partially broken in this move, too (structural pieces of the bed broken off, a leg of the dresser broken off - the movers left that one on its side for me to single-handedly fix and move to its spot in our bedroom, a stud missing from our chair, a leg of our entertainment center broken off, and paint chipped from our China cabinet and coffee table). I have never seen such an unprofessional company. I learned that two drivers quit a couple days before, and while I sympathize with their scheduling issues, I wasn't ever notified that the company would have insufficient capacity to complete our job. When I called to ask for a partial refund the following business day, I got shuffled around for half an hour and got nowhere with them. There are so many other moving companies out there and I would never use this company again and would recommend that any consumer who wants all of their items moved, and moved in one piece, to steer clear.

Our experience with this company was terrible. They had an estimator review our items to be moved, gave us a quote, confirmed twice that they could move two heavy pieces. Then on the day of the move they showed up and said they can't move the two heavy pieces and most likely they were not going to move anything. We called management for an explanation and management was extremely rude, and gave a half hearted apology. Needless to say we sent them home, and now we have no movers. Typically we prefer to give good reviews but this was an extremely unprofessional company.

This company is a bunch of lying scammers! Do not use this company!! They charged my 82 year old uncle twice of what was quoted showed up 7.5 hrs late!! Coerced my uncle to sign a forced contract before the delivery to his new address was complete!! And lets not forget they severely damaged his expensive Queen Mattress and mattress topper they did not take his step ladder of the truck, so basically stole it. When emailed to inquire about a refund. They completely ignored the request. Moving on to further measures to dispute the transaction and damages! Run. Mitchell Cohan

Untrained and very slow movers. Damaged door, scratched wall. Did not remove shelving from bookshelves - everything was crashing and banging when they moved shelves. Piano was on their inventory - yet they came not equipped for moving the instrument, tried to get out bringing it into the new place (after removing it from old place); finally did it - 3 guys seemed to have a very hard time - one seemed to have health condition, I honestly felt very bad for him having to do it without proper equipment. And when they left I noticed that my new beautiful wood floor was badly scratched. They took forever and did a lousy job.

I booked two moves with All My Sons this past July. The first move was to a storage facility, and two weeks later a move from the storage facility to our new home. The first move went ok- the second move was confirmed by Teresa at about 10:30 AM the day before for 7:30 AM. I received a second call from her at 4:30 PM CANCELLING MY MOVE FOR THE NEXT MORNING - she gave me a date 2 weeks later!!! They left me scrambling for a moving company for the next morning. She said their truck broke down- I would have to believe they have more than 1 truck and that they must have contracts for rental trucks when this happens. Also, when unpacking, we found they had wrapped TAPE on our wood furniture and missing pieces from our bookcases that were very expensive. I would NOT recommend!!!

I would stay away from this moving company. Two days before my move-in, I called the company for confirmation, and they told me my move will happen on the afternoon of July 29. My 21-floor apartment only has two elevators, so I booked one of the elevators in the afternoon. On July 29, without notifying me the day before, the movers just showed up at 8:00 AM. I don't know if this company is operating on British time, but 8:00 AM is definitely not the afternoon in my definition. Because another resident had the elevator booked during this time slot, we had to use the non-moving residential elevator. Because the residents of this 21-floor apartment had to use the elevator as well, we could only move bit-by-bit. According to the movers, the moving process took 2 hours longer than what it would have taken if they had come in the afternoon like they were supposed. As a result, I was charged about $400 dollars more than I was supposed to.The driver told me that this company does this quite often and that they had to cancel someone's move because the management sent the movers out at the wrong timeslot. I called customer service to complain about this issue, but they refused to reduce the fee even by a penny for a serious mistake that they caused. This company clearly has issues to sort out, so I would strongly recommend against using this company before they resolve them. What is the point of using a big and expensive moving company that can't even take care of basic tasks? Just find a more local moving company that stays on top of their stuff.

Let me add to the chorus of people who are absolutely correct when they say this place is awful. The office gives a low ball price to get you to sign up and then charges you twice that amount or more. I feel ripped off. Simple local move. Avoid this place. Sam is the office staff member who promised a MUCH lower price than actually charged. The 2 men who moved us did a good job, my issue is with this company's sales practices

They stink. Very unethical. Would not send me a final receipt. Overcharged and then ghosted me. Movers were inefficient and lagged to stretch out time. Assembled my furniture in the WRONG WAY. Use some other business. The manager hung up on me and said " too bad". They are not reliable.

ZERO STARS!! The absolute worst! They only sent two guys, instead of three, which was a mistake. They struggled moving the furniture, and at one point, tried to shove a large couch through a sliding glass door opening. One guy dropped an end on my brand new (new construction house) hardwood floor resulting in two long gouges in the hardwood! The other guy asked to use the bathroom, and ended up peeing all over my brand new floor! When I called to report this, Sam seemed like he could care less. Extremely unprofessional and not at all concerned about customer service!

I would give a zero if I could. I had a move booked over a month in advance and was told I could leave all my clothes in dressers and they would be wrapped up. I was assured nothing would be a problem and there was no issue being on a second floor. When I received the confirmation call, I was told dressers had to be emptied. The movers called to say they were on their way, they showed on time, didn't say hello when greeted, looked around the house and left. I have 2 cats and I was in the process of getting them rounded up, they were running and hiding because they were scared of new people in the house. Two of the guys returned upstairs and one guy asked the other, "Did you take the pictures?" The other guy said yes and he left. The last guy left looked at me and said, "I can't do this job." WHAT?! It is my moving day, everything is packed and ready to go. I asked why and first he said it was disorganized, ummmmm everything is boxed and dressers are emptied. Anything else going on is irrelevant. Then he says "It's old", I asked what that meant and got no answer. As I was speaking, he turned his back to me and said, "I am calling my home office." He then left. I get a call from Amanda who said she is sorry but they can't do it. Then they speak to another family member who put the deposit down and Amanda told her the movers said there was trash and animals running all over. FALSE: The truth is my 2 cats were in the process of being contained and that "trash" was bags of clothes seeing as I ran out of boxes. She didn't want to hear any of it and said this was the best crew. If they are the best I hate to see the worst!! She didn't care about anything and backed the crew completely without even listening. They acted as though I was filthy and owned a zoo instead of 2 cats. After seeing these poor ratings, I'm glad they walked off the job. We dodged a bullet. They are completely unprofessional.

Submitted for a quote and they only allowed me to give a phone number and now they're calling me 2-3x daily for the past week even after I opted out of this. The spamming is unreal, I'm busy during work hours and can't take calls.

We had SO MANY issues with this moving company and the ENTIRE process. This move was stressful not only because it was cross country (from CT to MI) but because we were moving to be closer to my sister in college after the death of our mother. This company made it 100x worse. First, there was an issue with the office. When we called to talk initially to about us driving a Penske truck ourselves and having them pack our home and load the boxes on the truck we were told a 16' truck was sufficient since we have a very small (only 900 square foot) home. (We opted for this because we were quoted $11,000 for them to pack and drive and unpack everything!) My husband and I have never moved before (we moved from our first home after getting married 2 years ago, I moved from a shared apartment and my husband was living with family) and took the advice of their office staff who seemed knowledgeable when we called and gave him the inventory of our furniture and belongings. When the moving team arrived they told us that truck wasn't big enough and they could only pack half of our items. We ended up having to rent another truck to get our entire home packed. After packing, when we walked through the house they left trash on the floor in almost every room of the house and MISSED a lot of the art on our walls. It took us hours to finish cleaning the house after they left. (This was disappointing especially because we had bought the crew lunch since they had come from another job and we wanted to help them keep up their stamina.) Second, once our truck was unpacked at our new home we found MANY issues. The items were not packed in labelled boxes and were not packed in any sort of organized manner, we had food items mixed in with clothes, and kitchen items mixed in with books, etc. This caused a nightmare as we unpacked and made it hard to see if we were missing anything. Several containers of food, that were damaged as they packed or packed improperly, spilled all over causing a big mess. They didn't use most of the packing supplies we bought from Uhaul (as recommended by their office staff because it's cheaper) and most of our things were either packed improperly or they used their own and charged us for it. Third (and worst), was the damage and loss of our belongings. Many of the boxes were not packed properly. Our microwave had been just set on top of boxes in the truck (not bubble/paper/shrink wrapped or strapped down) and it fell and was dented badly during transport. They also broke one of our flatscreen TVs, cracked the top of a food storage container, and lost pieces of our furniture (we found some of the pieces in miscellaneous boxes - it appears if things fell off they just threw them wherever instead of gathering them up and putting them together or handing them to me as I was present the entire time). Four of my husband's watches (2 of which were expensive) were taken out of their storage boxes. The empty storage boxes were packed and we found them empty. In the end, the company is REFUSING to give us any money back after we submitted a for our damaged and lost/stolen items. They claim we should have checked our inventory after they packed the truck - we don't know how we could have done that before we drove the truck to MI and unloaded and unpacked it ourselves. We are very angry and disappointed in this company. I don't know if the issues with the packing and the loss of items is because of this particular team, but the way the office staff has handled it all makes me wary of the entire company. My husband and I try to be understanding and gracious but looking back at all of this, it's just unacceptable. Save yourself (and your belongings!) the trouble and don't use this company!
