The pharmacy is great, if you look past the pharmacy tech not knowing the trade name to levothyroxine or how to pronounce it. The pharmacists are great, but it seems like the techs are always new and have a high turnover.
Always an interesting experience shopping here. Apparently, they lock up the dove shampoo and conditioner for some reason. (Sidebar: I usually use Garnier but they’ve been plum out of the sleek and shine for several days). I saw an employee nearby and asked if she could unlock it for me. She said, “someone up front can do that for you.” I go up front to the cashier who is working through a line of people. I wait in line and he is lovely. He says “sure, I’ll be right with you.” Every time he gets done clearing the line of people at the checkout counter, someone else shows up for him to checkout. I’m waiting when a woman finally approaches and asks if I had a question. I said yes, I would like the Dove shampoo and conditioner unlocked. I mention it’s a weird thing to keep locked up and she said, “you’d be surprised, the name brands are all the rage right now” as if I’m buying a Chanel purse or a diamond necklace ? It’s Dove, the shampoo is like $3 or $4. Anyway after all this I finally get my products. What a debacle just to get some hygiene products. To top it off, the lady who helped me makes some snide remark to the poor cashier about how he was *checks notes* helping the customers at the register. Lo and behold, it’s certainly not the best CVS I’ve been to but not the worst.

After complications with my previous pharmacy, I came in and spoke to the pharmacist. I was just going to inquire about transferring my rx's. He had it done in less than 5 minutes for my entire family.
I came back today to pick up a med and receive a vaccine. He also answered my question about upcoming vaccines and one last health/medicine related question.
At no point was I given the impression I was rushed or he didn't have the time. I tried to keep it concise and limited so as to not take a lot of time.
The support staff are also very helpful and informative.
Everyone seemed pleasant. I did not get the impression from a single associate that they did not want to be here.
Very friendly, clean. Excellent customer service. My visit was also very quick.
I would highly recommend this location.

They have dealt with my prescriptions and have no complaints, even answered a drug interaction question i had with no problems.

This CVS location is awful, and we just moved out here. I'm very upset and in pain. Called twice, and my doctors office inquired on why my medication is not being filled as directed. No answers. Just lies. Status says "in process" for over 2 weeks. I was told it would be ready by 5pm today (12/28), and it was not. I have fibromyalgia and bilateral sciatica, so I require these to keep my flares ups at bay. The techs are impatient and incompetent. I asked why my medication is still in process, she goes on to tell me what that medication does. I tell her I'm a nurse, and I'm well aware of refills, authorizations, etc. YET they continue to lie to you and say "your insurance....." Nope! Try to lie again. It's a 30 day supply!!! Basic math! 120 quantity of tablets taken twice daily equals A 30 DAY SUPPLY!!! Pull out your calculator if you have trouble comprehending. I will be making contact with corporate asap. This isn't right!!!

This is just my experience in the store, I have no experience with the pharmacy. The entrance is at a light, so that's nice if you have to turn left to get in. The parking lot is well lit and has lots of room. There's even a bench in front of the store. Inside is clean, a little full for a CVS but everything is where you expect it to be. Extra stars for the employee who checked in from his break and went right to ringing before even putting his uniform shirt back on. I was so happy to have someone help the line move while the other cashier was being bogged down by slow understanding customers. Who needs the formality if it gets me and my fellow customers on our way?

Enrolled for the text messages but I'm still receiving the calls on wrong time I'm getting sick and tired of their system...not recommending to any one walmart pharmacy is the best....especially cromwell cvs pharmacy peoples most of them are..not friendly at all......

I’ve lived in Cromwell for almost 3 years now and always used this horrible CVs but i will be driving to rocky hill from now on to pick up prescriptions, after tonight. First of all, even though i always get text messages saying my prescriptions went through even sometimes after 24+ hours if i don’t go through drive thru to pick up and let them know i am PHYSICALLY there, it’s never ready i always have to wait 15-20 minutes and am told to pull around. Tonight i came back at 7:50pm to pick up my medication that i was told wouldn’t be ready for another 30 minutes at 6:30pm, keep in mind this medication is three individual pill capsules so it should not take 30 minutes to make anyways i come back and wait in line behind someone for over 10 minutes who isn’t being helped just for me to pull up to the window and the gentleman close the gated window down in my face. Disgusting. I had to knock on the window for a few minutes for the head pharmacist to finally give me my medication that i desperately needed tonight. Will never ever be back in this facility and definitely will be reaching out to corporate about whoever was working last night in the pharmacy because clearly that gentleman hates the career path he’s chosen.

Went to pick up a prescription asked me if I knew how much it was I did. I went to use a good RX coupon then proceeds to tell me. Oh no, you have to come back you’re not picking this up tonight because we’re closed. You’re not closed until the customer is taken care of. You shouldn’t reject a customer of their medication especially if they are in need of it. No one knows what’s going on with that person and to reject someone like that is unacceptable.

I was profiled and discriminated against in this Cvs store. I had a Eucerin product to return and a guy in this Cvs store who claims to be the manager of the store said he will not accept my return. I asked him why and he said because he just does not want to as he doesn'tthink it is mine. I was surprised. I have my receipt which is very much within the return policy time frame. He did not even try or attempt to ring a return, he just said he would not do it and that I should take it back to the Cvs store I bought it from. It sounded odd to me because one can always return items bought from one Cvs to other Cvs stores. If that wasn't the case, it should have been stated on the receipt. This acclaimed manager(I say this because he was wearing a black hoodie sweater that does not reflect the Cvs dress code and an associatehad told me earlierthat there was no manager around that day) later said it is because the Eucerin product was not carried in that Cvs store, which was a lie. I found the same product on the store shelf of this Cvs store and I videod it. The acclaimed manager rudely walked out on me while still talking to him without accepting my return. This store deserves a zero star if there's provision for it.
