There is no way that any of the four and five star reviews posted for this guy are real. He blew off three straight appointments, once with no explanation, another time citing a malfunction with his truck (incidentally even though he was three hours late by the time I found out he wasn't going to make the appointment he never intended to call me to tell me about it. I had to call him to find this out), and the third time he missed the appointment again because of his truck. With the third appointment I even gave him explicit instructions to pick a time that he could definitely make it and he failed to show up regardless. On the fourth appointment he shows up late, sees some rusty screws and promptly quits, swearing to me that rusty screws cannot be removed under any circumstances. A quick Google search will come up with about fifty techniques that would indicate otherwise. Then he took nearly a month to pay me a partial refund of the retainer I had given him to fix the stove. If you confront him on any of this he simply whines about how hard it is to run a business. Adulthood is tough but it is not my responsibility to run your business for you. Avoid this guy like the plague. Go with Fred from Storr's Appliance instead.

They were contracted through American Home Shield to fix my dishwasher. After telling me the parts were delayed or on backorder, I was eventually told that they couldn't get the part because they were no longer available. A second company came in to install a new dishwasher and told me the parts were available and they could have them to install this week (being done on Friday). I'm not sure what the issue was, but it cost me an extra four weeks without a dishwasher.

Our refrigerator did not come back on after a short power outage. Shaun came out and managed to her the refrigerator out, it was in a tight place. Fixed it and was very nice.

I was super impressed with Shaun and this company. My oven door was broken and it was no easy task to fix it. They do not make this oven anymore. He not only helped me find the parts that were not even made anymore, but then he had to install them which no one else would even try to do. The ovens were very hard to move to get at the area that needed repair. He was very gracious to help us out like this and I would recommend this company over and over again.Thank you again Shaun!!

I called Shawn at Top Notch Appliance 2 weeks ago, he responded immediately and came over 2 days later to fix me Kenmore washing machines. It posed more of a problem than he thought, so he spent the entire day calling and searching for a specific part for me. He actually came back 2 hours later and fixed what went wrong. Its perfect now!! Thanks Shawn.His got great prices compared to other places, and he takes cash and card. With discounts applied too. I would call him again.

My dryer belt broke. I contacted Maytag and they directed me to Too Notch for repair. Shawn was very professional and I found the rates were fair. He was very quick to repair my dryer and I would recommend Top Notch to any one who needs their service. Thank you again!

Got a very poor service. He said he need to order parts, then he never called again, and when I called he said he's busy. Even after the parts were delivered to him (I checked with my provider) he didn't call nor update. We decided to cancel and take a different company, because we knew nothing good will come up from that service. I would not recommend to anyone.

Do not recommend. Came to the house to fix dehumidifier. Said he did not know what was going on. I provided number for tech support for manufacturer. After a month of calling and no response I called manufacturer. Factory rep diagnosed problem over the phone and sent me the part. I fixed it myself and it was very easy. Do not recommend this company!

DO NOTUSE THIS COMPANY!!!! Worst company ever! They don't even deserve one star. They will tell you they ordered parts. They didn't. They will schedule appointments and not show up or call to let you know they are not coming. You will not be able reach them by phone because they don't answer the phone and their voicemail is always full. No doubt their voicemail is full of messages from other frustrated customers.Save yourself a lot of aggravation and find a reputable repair company.

Contracted this person through a home warranty company to repair an appliance. I have a second technician at my home right now fixing and replacing the SAME part that was replaced/repaired by this company not even a year ago. My current technician said Top Notch failed to replace 2 sensors while installing another part leading to this breakdown of the appliance again. I'm out about $100 in service fees due to the lack of care or knowledge (whichever it was) by the company owner and technician requiring me to pay for 2 service calls. This does not include the money I'm out on food that spoiled unnecessarily the second time and the purchased meals required since I'm out of a major appliance.
