Melissa is an absolutely AMAZING photographer! She was so great and patient with our newborn and captured the cutest images we can’t get enough of. You can see the experience and passion she puts into each photograph. Also to add, her studio is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend to capture those precious newborn moments!!

I found Melissa by searching for newborn photographers in my area. As soon as I saw her pictures I knew it was exactly what I wanted. I reached out to her and she was so quick to respond and provide me information on packages and dates. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, as soon as we walked in the door she made us feel so comfortable and at ease. She was so sweet, patient and gentle. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure how my baby would be thru the session but not once did Melissa make us feel rushed. She was so calm and understanding and I couldn’t have been more thankful. I would recommended Melissa to everyone I know in need of an amazing photographer. She is truly one of a kind and I am so thankful to have the beautiful memories she’s captured of my family.

Melissa did a phenomenal job photographing my newborn baby. As a first time mom, these images captured a beautiful memory. Melissa was prompt and welcoming when arriving for our photoshoot. She made sure my baby, myself, and my partner were comfortable throughout the entire session.Additionally, we paid for 2 swaddles and a family portrait. Melissa ended up throwing in an additional swaddle!Highly recommend!!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude towards Melissa’s stunning work, as well as her kindness and hospitality. The images that she captured are truly breathtakingly beautiful, and we are in awe of her magic. Of course, I am a bit biased, the photos of our child are the most beautiful newborn photos we have ever seen. I was a bit on the fence about investing in newborn photos and I am so thankful that I came across Melissa Hartigan Photography. She made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, which is hard to do with a newborn while running on little sleep. She ensured that we were not only comfortable but did not rush us when our baby needed feedings and some mommy cuddles. The photos are just amazing and perfect. Very much recommend!

Melissa’s work was amazing! She’s truly blessed with exponential talent! I booked her for Maternity and newborn session. Both came out great! If you live in Connecticut, please stop hunting and just blindly go by my words and book her. She puts heart and sole to her work, that’s why it turned out great.

Melissa did an amazing job capturing our son for his newborn photos. She was very accommodating to move us up in the schedule as he was 5 weeks early. All of the prep that Melissa gave us helped to ensure one amazing session with photos we will treasure forever. She even gave us some of her tips on calming babies down that we used over the next few months. The photos captured our son perfectly and everyone complements us on them. The poses are so sweet and she was able to capture his tiny smile. We will be using Melissa for all our future family photos!

Amazing experience all around and would highly recommend selecting Melissa in capturing all of your special life milestones. Melissa handled our Maternity Shoot for us and from the very beginning she was responsive, engaged and really listened to what we were looking for. The communication and attention to the details during the planning stage made me know I was in good hands, and I felt very prepared with my expectations for the day of the shoot. Upon arrival, Melissa made both my husband and I feel so comfortable and the studio was perfect! It had everything we needed while still maintaining a personal and warm atmosphere. The turnaround time was quick and easy. The pictures turned out better than we could have imagined, thanks to Melissa’s artistic eye. We used Melissa for newborn photos of our twins. She has twins so she intimately knows how to manage 2 babies at the same time and had a 2nd person available to help during the session. She is very chill and flexible with how she works around babies being babies while still getting amazing photos. Her parent/family lounge is lovely and has lots of creature comforts while you are waiting for several hours.

I can not recommend Melissa enough! She did our newborn shoot and we were blown away. Melissa helped us with the prep to make sure our baby would be good for the shoot and ensure he felt comfortable. When we got to the studio it was absolutely beautiful and the space was cozy and relaxing for us. We were able to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax for a few hours while she photographed our son. She was professional, timely, nice, and easy to work with. The photos she took were amazing and I am so happy with how they turned out. I highly recommend Melissa Hartigan and will be returning to her in the future!

Melissa truly is amazing at what she does. She did our newborn photo shoot and it was the most beautiful art! She was gentle and patient with our baby girl and captured the best photos. I couldn’t have asked for more perfect pictures. Her studio is cozy, comfortable, clean, and full of a variety of scenes/props/colors. I live over an hour a way and it was well worth the drive. I will be using Melissa in the future for our family photos as well.

I would highly recommend Melissa Hartigan Photography! She took our maternity photos and they are absolutely beautiful! She helped me pick out a lovely gown from her collection of maternity gowns to borrow for the photo shoot. She was even so kind to reschedule a gown try on when I accidentally missed the appointment! She put my husband and I at ease during the photo shoot, choosing a beautiful location and knowing what poses to suggest to create beautiful photos that we will forever cherish. We couldn’t be more thankful and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for maternity photos!

Melissa was so nice and professional. she gave such good advice before we even got to the studio. The space was warm and beautiful and you can tell how hard she worked to make the space her own. it was also so clean and made this momma feel so safe in a crazy covid world. It was beyond difficult to pick just a few of the amazing pictures.

I was really nervous going into this, but Melissa did an amazing job from the start with making me feel comfortable. She had a variety of dresses to choose from, with many styles and colors, so there is something for everyone. The pictures were stunning, and I had so much fun at the location she chose for the shoot. She very clearly loves what she does!

I got the pleasure of working with Melissa to get some photos taken of my newborn. First off, I love how quickly she responds to emails. Melissa got back to me when I inquired about a newborn shoot extremely fast and I was set up with a date and time way sooner than expected. Her studio is beautiful and she truly made me feel right at home from the moment we walked in. I loved how easy she made the whole experience and was so wonderful with my newborn. The photos she was able to capture of my baby are ADORABLE. I will definitely be going back to her in the future and I highly recommend her services!
