I moved to North Franklin just outside their service area and I really miss them. They always provided exceptional service throughout the years, and they always had the lowest prices by far. Would easily recommend to anyone (with a side of jealousy).

The worst customer service experience I've had; worthy of zero stars. Oil was delivered to the wrong home, the woman on the emergency "helpline" was EXTREMELY rude, unhelpful, and demanded we pay for another delivery when we had already paid. We were left without oil in freezing winter temperatures for days until they admitted the issue was on their end. No compensation or apology offered. Disappointed in the service and do not recommend to anyone. Save yourself the headache and frustration.

Unlike most other oil companies, they refuse to do reocureoccu automatic deliveries which has caused countless problems getting oil delivered on time as they refuse to deliver unless your tank is almost empty.

I am a new resident east of the river. I have lived west of the river for the last 33 years. I recently purchased a beautiful estate located in Coventry and during the closing i was told that I had 600 gallons left in my oil tank. Long story short, that was far from accurate as I ran out 2 nights ago around 8 pm when it was to be 19* overnight and with 2 young children in my home.

Going on year 4 and they have been the most cost effective every time. Have never had an issue with getting oil delivered in a timely manor. Make sure to ask about a bulk oil discount (over 400 gallons).

Friendly family people who take care of their customers. We have used Affordable Fuel for about a dozen years now and they are always timely and have ALWAYS kept prices very affordable (no pun intended). One time about 5 years ago, we ran out of fuel, The owner, immediately came out and got us up and running and even called back the next day to make sure all was fine. Glad to support a local business like this.

100% recommend! We've used for many years and have always been satisfied, but they went above and beyond today when we called, reporting we were out of oil (our fault for not monitoring). They delivered oil within 2 hours and service technician was able to come out and re-set furnace. He was prompt, courteous, professional. Thank you!

On February 7, 2019, I was scheduled to have my boiler serviced and a circulator pump problem diagnosed and rectified by Affordable Fuel Co, with whom I have a service contract with. The appointment was for 5PM. Since I am working six days per week far from home, I had to take a day off to accommodate the service technician. Coincidentally, Affordable Fuel Co. was going to fill my home heating oil tank that day as well...as part of our contract. At approximately 5AM, I was awakened by a truck's back-up alarm in my driveway. To my surprise, Affordable Fuel's driver though it was appropriate to not only deliver that early, but also to back up on my newly paved driveway with a fully loaded fuel oil truck, as the owner stated that I was the "first stop". During the course of the delivery, the driver drove onto my lawn and damaged the lawn. Additionally, the weight of the truck cracked my driveway in several locations. Later that day, I called Affordable Fuel Co. to make a complaint about the extremely early delivery time as well as the damage done to my lawn and driveway. The owner, Ms. Denise P. Bombard, stated that she did not want to go through her insurance company and stated, "what do you want...come up with a number". Not knowing anything about driveway repaving, I consulted my brother in law who is a civil engineer for a rough estimate. When I mentioned to Ms. Bombard that I consulted my brother in law, she stated, "I don't like the sound of civil engineer. I think we are going to cancel your service appointment for tonight and you can speak with my insurance company." Such a response was a clear breach of our service contract, and I had to summon another company to handle my heating issue. I would not recommend Affordable Fuel as their customer service is non-existent.

Called company to inquire about a furnace replacement. The first question asked, are you a current customer and without even asking any additional questions the lady immediately said there was nothing she could do for us. Well they just lost a potential customer. Not only do I need the furnace replaced in our current house that we will be renting, we are also buying a new house that might need a replacement down the line(17 year old furnace). We are also shopping around for a new oil company for the new house. I guess new customers are not important to them. Good thing the other company we called for a quote was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I have been with my current oil company for 9 years so I am a loyal customer. I was recommended to call Affordable when talking to an acquaintance about the new house. I really am not one for writing negative reviews but I do believe that it is important for all businesses to learn their customers before making an assumption of needs right off the bat.
