Well for starters. We reserved a uhaul 3 weeks in advance to move from CT to FL. We kept asking if they had a car dolly which they kept responding "they didn't know"... they told us they'd call us back every time we called but never did. Today was the day we were scheduled to pick up the uhaul. We arrived (after calling to inquire about the car dolly and didn't get a call back... again) they told us WHEN WE ARRIVED that they didn't have the truck. They couldn't even call us ahead of time to tell us it wasn't there!!!! So after spending an hour on hold, I finally got in touch with Shane, the general manager. He was repulsively rude. Kept over speaking when I would try to speak; told me he'd give us $50 credit and we "should" be able to get a truck tomorrow. Then when I was trying to explain how much it was going to cost us to delay moving my an entire day, told me to "quit my complaining" on FB and he was cancelling my reservation for tomorrow as well. I'm absolutely disgusted and will tell everyone that will listen how horrific this experience has been in order for them to not have to endure this pathetic excuse for customer service!!!

I cannot possibly convey how terrible of an experience we had with this particular Uhaul location. Bad enough that we will never use Uhaul ever again. Here is a very brief list of what they put us through: 1)Messed up our order (which we booked weeks in advance) not once or twice but THREE times 2) Did not have our equipment available at the nearby location, and failed to notify us of that until the day before our move. We had to pick up the necessary equipment on the morning

I cannot possibly convey how terrible of an experience we had with this particular Uhaul location. Bad enough that we will never use Uhaul ever again. Here is a very brief list of what they put us through: 1)Messed up our order (which we booked weeks in advance) not once or twice but THREE times 2) Did not have our equipment available at the nearby location, and failed to notify us of that until the day before our move. We had to pick up the necessary equipment on the morning of the move an hour away from our home in the opposite direction of where we were going. 3) Upon hooking up the auto trailer, we discovered that the box truck we had already loaded did not have functioning wiring to use taillights on the auto transport. This is illegal to take out onto the road. 4) When we called their "customer service" line to get help and waited on hold for an hour and a half...while stranded in a parking lot. 5)it was another 30 minutes before we even got a text from roadside assistance 6)and another hour before they arrived. 7) we lost a full day of travel, and due to the late departure, ended up stuck in NYC traffic during the annual LGBT+ pride parade. 8) between lost wages, cancelled hotel reservations, wasted gas idling the truck, and time lost in traffic, we lost over $1,000 9) managers John Slota and Mark Roseman decided our horrible experience and wasted time was worth $100, which they pressured my fiancee into taking and refused to acknowledge us further.

I've had to repeatedly contest what I was charged. The contract shows rental dates of 8/25-8/28. I was charged for an extra day despite returning the truck a day earlier (technically around 4:30 pm - so it counts as the 28th, but that's still within the time constraints). I received my receipt via email showing the extra charge and reached out through the link provided to ask why I was charged. No reply for two days, so I reached out to their customer service and was just told over and over that I'd had the car an extra day. I guess now I'll be moving on to emailing the company instead of using the chat feature. Calling just gets me transferred and put on hold constantly. I work in customer service so I don't have a very high bar, I'm fine with the basics, but this is ridiculous.
