"So don't be afraid to let them show Your true colors True colors are beautiful Like a rainbow" (Cyndi Lauper) When was the last time I was inside a store as colorful, beautiful, and visually appealing as the kaleidoscopic rainbow of Blumen Laden? Maybe never. Their color pallet is simply stunning. Check out the photos of their knit goods, flowers, plants, jewelry, clothing, candles, soaps, handbags, ribbons, and housewares. Their stylist and design team get mega-bonus points for laying out their inventory in such an eye-candy fashion. I loved the candy corn jewelry -hand made by their proprietor. If you're in the market for something special to improve or enhance the décor of your living quarters, you will love browsing around Blumen Laden just like we did. In case you're curious, what does "Blumen Laden" mean? Its German for "Flower Shop"!!

I'm not sure why this is called an antique store as it's comparable to a consignment shop and nothing more. My fiancé and I went in here to kill a little time as we had an appointment in Canton. We thought we'd find some antiques but only found junk. Sorry. The owner was rude and appeared to not want to be bothered. We did buy some potpourri which was overpriced ($13.50) for 4 small cupfuls and $2.50 each per small satchel bag that probably cost the owner a nickel. There's plenty of real antique shops in the area where they actually have antiques and good attitudes toward their customers. This store sadly did not.

Store hours said they closed at 5. I was practically thrown out of the store at four o'clock while deciding on an expensive purchase. The owner was very rude and I will never shop there again.

Beautiful and quaint, so glad to live near there. Kayaking on the river remains a favorite memory, with lunch after at LaSalles market. Loads of Great shops and my sons band plays at the Crown and Hammer pub.

I bought a purse that also had a matching wallet/wrist purse as a Christmas gift. When my sister opened it, she noticed the zipper didn't work. I went back to see if I could get a replacement wallet. Was told they didn't carry it anymore. I found it on one of the racks. Not only would they not replace the defective wallet, they wouldn't even let me purchase the replacement. Will never buy anything there again.

Purchased a small bag a year ago and only used it 3-4 times. I was at a Christmas party this past weekend when the bag handle broke off and all the contents spilled onto the floor! I stopped by and asked the owner what she could do about this and she basically said nothing. I will never purchase another thing from this shop.
