This may be one of the worst places I have lived and I have lived in Hartford. I was here with the old management and now the new one. My apartment flooded twice on the first floor. Sewage backed up and flooded into my kitchen since and floor. Spent a whole day bleaching everything. There always seems to be some drama going on or police coming to the complex. My house always smells like weed and I have children. The maintenance guys are very nice.

The office staff were so rude and not helpful. Paid rent but took too long to process always got eviction notices. Some people didn't clean up after their pets. Wouldn't recommend it. One upside was great maintenance guy. Overworked and underpaid.

When I lived here, my refrigerator broke, and until it became an issue they didnt fix it. They constantly had to treat the water because it's not even potable. Scummy treatment. Icy conditions of parking areas and mistreatment of tenants. There are mice in the apartment and they refuse to do anything about it.

I have been a tenant here for years. The onsite maintenance gentleman is nice but over worked. The property management staff and company (At this time Pinnacle) are inept and completely useless. They will gladly tell you anything to get you into your apartment and even take the time to note down things that need to be resolved. I can say that the list of issues was never resolved. On the upside, some of my neighbors are nice. Most of the neighbors pick up after their dogs. Some of the dogs are really nice too.

I've been here one year I was greeted by fleas my first few months (at this time I didn't even have a pet, second was the brown rust water, that was never hot, or drinkable even with a Brita filter. Once I got my pet he of course got fleas and a bacterial skin infection from the fleas... I caught mice at one point and I contacted the office and all I got was a "that's weird there's so many cats around I didn't think that mice would be a problem. But on top of all of this and the hellish year I had here at GAIA GARDENS I'm moving out this month and since I gave a 50ish day notice instead of a 60 day notice i have to pay rent for another month, and I must vacate the premises by my lease end date because "there's a prospective tenant and they need to flip the apartmemt" so I'm paying 1300$ for the month of August on top of moving costs and all of the fees of my new apartment for the 10 days I was late by.Don't move here. It seems nice at first, it's a shame I didn't read any reviews before signing the lease or I wouldve never done it.
