I was someone who had a lot of gym anxiety at the start, and now coming here is a part of my regular routine and I do not feel the anxiety anymore! There is a room called the studio that is a little more private and having that space open for me to use (when classes are not in session) has really helped me build my confidence because I didn’t have to worry about as many people looking at me being clueless in the beginning. Great place to start if you have anxiety about the gym. In addition to the facility being awesome, Jesse, one of the managers, has been nothing but KIND and AMAZING! I always feel welcomed. On my first day he gave me tour and let me know I could come to him with any questions. I always see him around the gym cleaning and doing maintenance tasks to keep the place spotless. It is very well run, clean, and the staff are so friendly! 100000% recommend coming to this gym!!!!”

“So, I think i have written 1 review in my entire life....so i will give this a shot but you know....This gym is fantastic! I started with a push/voluntold from my wife. I started at a 0500 class in Jan 2023. Honestly, the class was overwhelming for a newbie given the class seem to know the movements, were lifting a decent amount of weight, and knew each other. Especially overwhelming as the ladies were all doing well. Despite the overwhelming feeling, One person said just keep coming....then another....so...I kept coming. After a few months, i am now hooked and continue to today where i pretty much go every day (during the week generally at 0500 and weekend at 0900) and feel bad when i cant/dont. It sets me up for the day for sure!. I believe in balance in life. Despite being a newbie....crossfit if you do it right has an awful lot of balance to it (stretching for first 10-15 min, then strength, then cardio'ish). To compliment the class balance, the community is really hard to beat anywhere in Connecticut or in the USA. The community of support....community of getting better and working form & not necessarily the weight...a community that feels like home daily that you don't want to leave (some linger - ok i do sometimes :))....a special place bar none. The programming from Bryan is the best in the state and probably broader, the coaches, and the community that Bryan and Erin have created keeps me coming back to achieve fitness goals + be part of something...a community. Hard to beat ....really hard....here in Connecticut or elsewhere.Like shawn said - I have also seen myself get better/transform...(example: I started at like 100# deadlift and within a year increased safely up to ~300#...deadlifts are so good for you....admittedly so tough for us tall people as it is a long way to go). The community has me wanting to be there every day and well i generally am. Beyond me, my wife + 2 kids also go multiple times a week (that is right kids too!). This community is so special that it is a family that is so so welcoming to kids with kids classes 2-3X a week, incredible. Well done by Erin and Bryan!I also, highly recommend this community for anyone. It is all about getting better no matter your age / concerns / etc.#Sweetheat (Rich Sykes)”
