While I did not rent from Goldi-Locks Self Storage at this time, I wanted to at least give credit where credit is due. Rodney was very courteous and forthright about pricing and availability. He emailed the contract of the unit I was going to rent fairly quickly and provided plenty if information on renting there and was easy to understand. They DO offer a military or Veteran discount, which to me is excellent.I do not have any comparison data to rate their pricing at this time. But they are conveniently located near the home we are buying and that was what I was looking for. We chose to wait as we are going to continue to downsize and see if we can avoid having to store anything in order to save some money.All in all, I would consider renting from Goldi-Locks in the future. Others have said their pricing is higher than others, but to be closer and to not be burning as much gasoline to access a cheaper storage area would probably even things out in my opinion. Either way, I think I received good service despite not renting a unit at present time.

While living in the Amston, CT area I searched high and low for affordable storage. Goldi-Locks was the most affordable. I spent more than 16 months there and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is very friendly, helpful and polite. The facility is clean, access is outstanding and the location is secure. It has cameras everywhere as well. Check them out. You will be very happy!

Price has increased twice in less than a year!!! It used to be 24-hours access, yet as a nice justification for second to last price hike they said access now is till 10PM or so to get into the gate, and there won't be a guard at night anymore. OK, how does eliminating the cost of a guard (who was useless) cause a price hike? I am also paying extra for after-hours access, it is moronic now to pay for five extra hours a day of access if it is not 24-hours anymore! And I just got another price hike letter today. I will be out of this soon if I see another price hike. Since I am not aware of any other internal climate controlled storage here, I guess I have to get my own house to store my junk in. Also, nobody answers e-mails to their address, or they answer a month after I sent them an e-mail. Nobody seems to be walking the units, too. Always something beeping an alarm inside the building, and I step in water leak puddles in the hallway. Getting too weird for my liking here, I guess I will have to do something else soon.

Rented here for several years. Never an issue, had 3 different units. Management was helpful. Location and units are clean. We left because our physical location changed and it was not convenient for us to rent here anymore with the rising prices, respectfully.We gave 40 days written notice in September via email to Linda and she confirmed. We were out at the end of October. Our unit was swept, paid in full and nothing was left behind. When we checked out with Linda she confirmed our address on file and said we would get a check in the mail. We are coming into January and I have yet to see anything come In the mail. I reached out to her last month and I have not heard anything back.Updated to say I just spoke with the owner and he said it was sent out on 12/7 but they just received it with a note that said return to sender from the post office, and it was re sent over the weekend.

Snow cleared away and office manned. Recommend bringing a tool to break the ice seal on outdoor unit in subzero weather. We used a tire iron.
